Staff is Great! Personable and funny. Will put a great playlist on to enjoy tunes. Quaint enough for a quiet intimate date or a small group of your favorite homies. Awesome mixology if you like classic drinks you can call out by name. Great coffees as well for the non cocktail person. Shout out to the Mix Master Roger.
The first time I came was one morning/afternoon for some boozy coffe (pumpkin spice oat milk latte with Jameson 😋) the next time I came was one night with a friend and we declared this our new neighborhood bar. Loved the people and the bartenders make amazing drinks (ask for the Trinidad on 16th! (Temporary name lol). Everyone is friendly, love the vibe 🎶🍻
Lovely little spot!
It’s definitely a vibe in there, went in for a drink, and to read a book. Ended up singing karaoke lol
I like the place, nice and cozy and Roger is a great and friendly bartender
Great vibe and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and provide wonderful service.
Excellent bar, fantastic service, check-out the art. I recommend the Irish Coffee on a cold winter afternoon.
Good vibes and super chill staff :)
This is such a chicago hidden gem! The coffee is divine and the drinks are delicious. Beautiful community and a great place to relax. Maya is the best!
A great neighborhood place
I LOVE 16TH $T BEST BAR IN TOWN HANDS DOWN AND I BEEN AROUND lol love 🥝 that's they best bar tender but the whole gang + ultra instinct vibes legendary continue to be great!
Nice establishment to grab drinks or coffee. They don't serve food but you're allowed to bring your own.
Midday on Monday peeking in the windows I pass the 16th St. They were open! I back tracked. Used their clean stylish bathroom (loved the fresh flowers and scented soap). I was served by mid-day Barista, Peg. She makes an amazing Manhattan on the rocks! The atmosphere, music and Peg definitely give a new meaning to: "Afternoon Delight". Thank you 16th and thank you Peg!
The review was a 4 until the "coffee manger" came in turned the music down turned the T.V. on didn't even speak to the customers. Me and the hubby was celebrating an afternoon for his birthday she never asked was it ok nothing she just came in taking over i waa not pleased with that and i told her other than that the bar seemed nice!
Great bar and atmosphere
By far my favorite bar in South Loop, with a very intimate location with the most knowledgeable and creative staff I’ve ever seen. I had the Bloody Mary and a Diet Coke and price was extremely reasonable! The cocktails aren’t your typical bar drinks, as each one is crafted with an extra flair to make the drinks unique and personal. The location also offers coffee, making it the perfect post up spot for working remote or catching up with a friend. On Friday nights and Saturday nights, the energy in the bar feels like you’re in NYC. It’s standing room only and definitely offers an exciting atmosphere to have a wonderful exciting night. The bar just started offering themed nights during the week, which has really brought a different flavor to the bar during the week nights. Please stop in and have a drink and some popcorn and get to know the bartenders and locals!
My friends and I were visiting Chicago to watch the marathon and stumbled upon this gem. Peg and Maya make INCREDIBLE espresso martinis and were so lovely to chat with. We liked them so much that we came back for more after the race! Good drinks + good vibes.
I feel ripped off. $20 for a Bloody Mary, Diet Coke, and two tap waters that took 15 minutes to make in a half full bar with two bartenders. 2 stars because the bloody was tasty. The bloody was 12$ so the Diet Coke was 8$ or they charged for tap water.
A well stocked and friendly place to kill some time.
Fun vibe! Great drinks..cool after Bears win hangout!
