First off the espresso here is excellent. I love it. Their espresso is high quality and wonderful no doubt about it. The store is also beautiful. However I am trying to figure out the pricing here. A large Iced Americano with 4 shots is $6.25. (Iced americano is espresso shots mixed with ice and water.) An iced quad espresso (4 shots espresso directly over ice, no water) oddly increases price to $7.05. 4 shots of espresso over ice for $7.05? This exact same beverage is $4.20 including tax at Starbucks. Before you crush me I am not comparing one coffee to another. I like both coffees. But paying almost double the cost here verses Starbucks for 4 espresso shots over ice will sadly reduce my visits here. Update 04/21/23: I made the mistake of coming back in here a few times and now I'm addicted to this place. I've told myself to man up and just work harder so I can earn more money to continue supporting my addiction here. Stars upgraded to 4. Would do 4.75 if I could. Staff is also rock solid.

I went here to get a cup of coffee and work but ended up getting two! I had the honey bee latte first, a sweet and flowery drink. The second drink I had was the Golden Dreams - turmeric, warm spices, coconut milk. Both were delicious! They also source sweets from local bakeries. They make their own syrups and ethically source all their coffees. They have other locations in the northern suburbs, and I will be seeking them out in the future. I still can’t get over the fact that they had coconut milk, my favorite. Many coffee shops I’ve gone to don’t. Looking forward to returning and trying new coffees and some of the baked goods!

Great coffee but $8.23 for a 20oz Oatmilk Latte without tip is just too much unfortunately regardless of inflation :-( I work in Chicago and most comparable artisan coffee houses there are actually 1-2$ less including factoring in their price raises

It has a nice cozy atmosphere and we visit often. But the PRICE INCREASE is huge. My almond milk capp,lg. is now over $8.00. Starbucks is alot less. I will still go,but will order plain coffee here. the last 3 visits, we had tiny flies flying around our coffee and faces. no kidding... in January!

Got whole milk again when I asked for and was charged for oatmilk. This has happened at both the Palatine and this location. Paid $7 for an oatmilk latte and couldn’t even get the correct milk. Please do better at listening, some people do have severe reactions to whole milk - it’s not just a milk preference.

Great local spot for coffee and a quick bite. I got the veggie sandwhich, it was a lack luster with veggies but full of flavor. If you're looking for a place to work, hangout, or relax this is a good spot. Outdoor seating is also available. My only contention with this place is that it's dirty and always has a fly problem.

The customer service here is unmatched! The crew goes above and beyond in ways I haven't seen in quite some time. There were two high-touch customers that were asking a billion questions about ingredients and the crew addressed all their concerns in the kindest and most patient way. On the same day (10/2/22), one of the baristas went outside to get a customer's order since his dogs were acting crae-crae. I'm blown away. Amazing job, y'all!
