Cute place to study. Get their cookie warmed, so worth it. I want to buy 5 more so so good!
While their food and coffee are good. Not great.. but good their service is at a level below McDonald’s.. extremely slow moving. No sense of urgency.. walked in waited 5 min just to order. Then after 20 mins of waiting slowly my coffee came out. Took over 30 mins for my entire order to come out. Just disappointed for a come and go wouldn’t go again.. only if you have at minimum an hour plus to waste and plan on sitting down. There was a different person that ordered coffee and waiting atleast 30-40 mins just for a singular coffee and informed them halfway into the wait they had a train to catch and they were gonna miss it and once again.. no urgency.. if they get there service up might actually be a good place.
It took us some time, but we finally checked out the Daily Projects Coffee Bar & Eatery. I've gotta say, we should have gone there earlier! It's such a modern yet cozy place. There are so many interesting menu choices, and we could not decide on what to order. My mom and I finally settled on the grilled chicken teriyaki sandwich and the avocado goat cheese sandwich. We also ordered a flat white with oatmilk, which was very good (my mom appreciated a perfect-sized cup as she strongly believes that the Starbucks Tall cups are still too much for her). I tried the lavender vanilla latte with oatmilk, and I loved it! The sandwiches were made fresh to order. I honestly think that Daily Project Cafe is a great alternative to all of the local fast food restaurants that do not offer any interesting, healthy sandwich options. My previous top choice, Panera Bread, has changed its menu, and it's not as good as it used to be before. We will definitely be back to Daily Projects!
Love it here, but they are so slow. Getting a refill of coffee took 7 minutes. Oh and coffee pours are either scant or overflowing in the saucer. If you're a coffee drinker these are important details!
Will be back to try the food, the coffee is delicious! Got the oat milk vanilla latte ☕️
They didn't have decaf. Waaaaaat? Oh well, I had tea instead. Still a great place with great atmosphere. Huge seating area.
Great atmosphere, lots of room to work or meet with friends. I got the Honey Boo Latte over Ice- it was perfect, not too sweet.
Just moved to town and everything I’ve ordered so far has been extremely delicious and all of their syrups are made in house!
Nice place to sit and relax. Service is okay. Those behind the counter rarely have much excitement or energy when I'm there.
I have been coming here for the last few years and I come here all the time... the coffee is good, a bit overpriced but GOOD! However, the one thing I wish they could do is change their pastries more often.. the last 3 years it has been the same pastries.. would love to get more variety and tasty pastries..
Lavender Honey latte and there espresso is great! Need to make another trip
Do NOT buy food from here. I ordered muffin and croissant and it was taken out of plastic wrap and placed in microwave, it tasted like paper. It is not made fresh in the cafe. Same with food, which the bread was like rubber. This place is dirty on the tables and floor. Doesnt look like anyone cleans here. The coaches are worned out and dirty and the pillows are dirty too with stains. I also asked the lady if they can clean off the table and her response was we will if someone will get a chance. What kind of response is that? They never came to clean our table and we had to sit in this mess. The only thing that was ok was the coffee which they also promised to make a cute design on top but they didnt. Overall not happy with the experience here.
My wife and mother in law got some coffee on their way back home, and they weren’t a fan of what they got. “Tastes like vanilla flavored milk.” I tried it, and she’s not wrong. “And it was expensive.” Ah well, there are other coffee shops around, so I’m not too broken up about it.
I’ve been going to Daily Projects since the week they opened. I would argue it’s the best coffee shop in the area. Their prices are fair. The drinks are consistently made to perfection. I can’t speak to the food as I’ve never ordered something besides the baked goods (which are very good by the way). Seeing their growth in the last few years has been great to see. I hope when the worlds returns to some form of normalcy that they invite Metric Coffee back out for a workshop. That was a lot of fun! Edit: the coffee is much worse than it used to be. The original owner used fresh and high-quality beans—often from excellent roasters such as Intelligentsia. This isn’t the case anymore and now their coffee is on par with all of the other coffee shops in the area.
I have been to Daily Projects Coffee Bar & Eatery several times and I really love this place. I enjoy the cozy and pleasant atmosphere of the cafe. The interior of the cafe is stylish and modern.🥰 I have ordered several different types of coffee drinks and they were all very delicious. 🤤 Each drink was freshly made and rich in aroma. I have tried a sandwich, avocado toast, salads and some cupcakes for breakfast and it was just amazing! Very tasty. However, I would like to point out that the girls at the front desk are not always friendly and can be grumpy, but not too often, so it can be understood that everyone has their tough days. Although one of them is ALWAYS very kind and helpful. ❤️Unfortunately, I didn't remember her name. 🤷🏼♀️ Also, in my opinion, the white curtains on the windows don't match the modern and stylish interior around looks old-fashioned and unattractive..🤦🏼♀️ sorry Overall, I am satisfied with always perfect coffee and always recommend it to friends and acquaintances. ❤️If you want to enjoy delicious food and coffee, as well as spend time in a cozy atmosphere, then Daily Projects Coffee Bar & Eatery is a place worth visiting.☕️
A great spot, not always busy, but popular - especially today, after an ice storm that took out power in 20,000 homes in northern Illinois. Get a cafe drink and/or light food while getting work done or just meet someone. Top quality local coffees, creative drinks, and a modest menu of light food - such as the breakfast burrito, which my son and I both like. The atmosphere is a mix of minimalistic rugged/modern with some natural touches. Good for concentration, though the music playing throughout the cafe is hit or miss with being just background or too much, as with most cafes nowadays. Accessible location. Expect higher pricing than the average cafe.
Had to find a place with free wifi to get work done due to the power outages and Daily Projects was a great choice! 10/10 Coffee, Food, Employees, Wifi, Comfort!
Our barista duo this morning were great. The Thai latte I got was also 100. Cheers, J
Cool place to hang out. Options galore on tea, coffee and food. Service is prompt and well versed. Decor is modern with benches and tables, and boasts of large space. Overall - top coffee / tea joint in this area.
I was a loyal customer but the service is getting unpleasant. Some stuff are ignorant, the chef (young Asian guy) lost my order for a sandwich. After 20 min of waiting for my lunch I was told I can be refunded.
