Just getting to Stanley is an adventure, a jaw-dropping beautiful drive. The coffee and the breakfast options will make for lasting memories, even if you never make back to savor a different menu item. Stanley Baking Company's reputation precedes it, so expect to wait in line for 30 minutes or longer depending on the season and time of day. The good news is that it's worth the wait just to be able to say 'I've been there!'
This place is adorable and worth the wait in line if you don’t get there early. Good service, delicious food and pastries, and great atmosphere.
Baked goods were yummy, turkey Reuben an interesting idea, it was delicious but very skimpy on the meat, kraut, & dressing. Sourdough pancake was huge! Good coffee drinks.
Amazing. I got the migas and my partner got Jack's badge. It was so good and flavorful. Good coffee and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
A must stop breakfast place on your way to some great hikes. You must factor in at least 20-30 minutes wait time if you want to be seated. They are always packed from 7 am-2 pm. It is so worth it. Last time we went, we got their breakfast burritos, veggie omelet and veggie sausages, biscuits and gravy, and a box of pastries: a very excellent cinnamon roll, sourdough blueberry muffin, brownie and pain au chocolat. They make kid sized hot chocolates that are the perfect temperature for kiddos.
Everything was awesome. Eggs even tasted creamy and sourdough pancakes were light and fluffy.
Suuuch a good breakfast! The cinnamon roll was so good, and for a good price too!
We enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. Actually, several breakfasts 😉. The coffee is great, and the breakfast meals are just what you need before a day of adventure. Lunch was just as delicious.
Best capuccino I've had ever. Great food! Gorgeous views in paradise
This place is wonderful. My family and i came here literally everyday we were in Stanley, sometimes twice a day. It seems a lot of people have the same idea. The food is good, the staff friendly and the coffee strong. I only took one photo because i was too busy enjoying the food or coffee. I would recommend the goji energy bars, they really kept me going during my time in Stanley. Thanks to the whole crew of the baking company for all being very cool. Cheers and see ya next time
Amazing food and nice friendly staff. This is the kinda place u wanna try everything. My new joint in Stanley.
Loved this place. Unbelievable food, great coffee, and the staff are totally wonderful. Would love to be able to come here every day!
Fabulous breakfast joint. They have all your classic favorites. Be prepared for a line especially on the weekends! Worth it though
The caprese sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. Also had a brownie which was terrific as well. So fudgey and good. The service was nice. The only minor complaint was the cinnamon roll was a little too lemony.
French toast and mocha were delicious!
The food and beverages are delicious! Best coffee! There are gluten-free and dairy-free options. Food made with fresh ingredients and the service was friendly. Highly recommended!
Great food and great service!!!
It has a reputation for a reason. Excellent everything. Sourdough pancakes, big sausage links, potatoes, eggs, coffee, all were great. Didn't plan to go out to breakfast multiple times, but just had to this trip.
Great food!! Only problem is EXTREMELY slow service. This place is packed and I waited approximately an hour each of the 3 times I went. They should hire more kitchen help and then it would be five stars
I’ve been coming here for a few years every summer and this is probably my favorite breakfast place in any mountain town I’ve been to. When I come to Stanley I refuse to cook breakfast because I’d rather just come here every morning. All hits no missed on the menu and the staff is so friendly!
