The cafe is closed long time ago
A cute little shop and experiences in mining for opals.
Very cool place, owner is very friendly and knowledgeable
Really nice place with an excellent selection of stones from the mine send elsewhere. Friendly staff and a reasonable price for everything. There's decent parking and even a lone fuel pump!
Did not eat but did the opal dig. Was alot of fun and had a good selection of jewelry at a good price
We stopped in to use a restroom and I'm glad we did. What a great store.
Had soooo much fun looking for Opal's, well worth the drive.
Fun place to shop and get an ice cream.
Planned the stop, they apparently closed early. I don’t exactly drive this remote stretch of road regularly. Doubt I’ll be able to stop by in the next few years. Disappointing.
I get to look for real opals at ur own pace...
It's a great little place in the middle of nowhere
Boy running things is not good at customer service.
My husband took me here for my birthday and my expectations were surpassed! This is a great stop if you're interested in fossils, rock hounding, or just spending some time outdoors. The prices are reasonable and the experience you get out of your money is well worth it. The staff is admirable and friendly, they were very helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my visit and can't wait to go back!
Had fun opaling!
Great place and very friendly.
A wonderful place to eat and lots of pretty stuff!!
Very cool, if you can stop & take a look
Amazing, fantastic lunch, hot cinnimon buns fresh from the oven with hot coffee., The family representative spoke to us at length about the opals and mine. Jewelry in the display case was outstanding.
Great homemade potato salad, soup and sandwiches. Great desserts. And a wonderful selection of opals, gems and rocks. Good stop!
I wish I had allotted more time. But I loved hunting for opals and lunch. We had a club sandwich split. So tasty!!!
