We always love to come to this place for family events! Customer service is good, but the wait time is sometimes a little too long. Still, all around a good go to!

We love this restaurant. The food is very good, and they offer a large selection of items to please any picky eater!

When the waiter a teenage boy puts silverware that contains a knife in reach of a one year old baby and then acts like everything is fine that's a no go we will never come here again

Fresh? Tasted frozen! I waited 20 minutes for a lasagna? By the way I was looking for a comfortable diner. The cooks music plus there singing was not pleasant.. please ask them to turn it down...

Food was great, but when did breakfast OUT PRICE dinner? And am I the only one that knows we live in IDAHO and that we grow potatoes here? How the world can you you charge $4-5 for a potato, it's getting ridiculous. Again that's over a 500% price increase over a potato, and from what I have gathered we don't have a reason for the increase on our potatoes. Potatoes are a right not a privilege price accordingly please. Btw this rant is for all restaurants not just Oliver's.

We were visiting Pocatello and needing a place for dinner, and Oliver's was wonderful in terms of food, as well as the service.

Looking for a great place to eat, with an authentic 50's diner? Then you might enjoy this place. Many options to choose from. I've been looking for a real diner experience for many years. Oliver's does not disappoint. Freshly made American meals that you would eat at home. Wheat, Honey Parker rolls served with every meal. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are on point. Service was friendly and efficient. My only disappointment was menu and prices online have not been updated.

It's an American diner atmosphere. The food is overrated and way overpriced. My bowl of soup was really salty. Waitress did not offer to exchange it for another item. I ordered a brownie and a piece of carrot cake, both of which were really overpriced and a small portion. The brownie was dry and had walnuts in it of which I am allergic and they did not tell me it had nuts in it prior to ordering. Maybe I'll go back in a month and see how they're doing and I'll edit my post if they're doing better.

The service was excellent. Our server offered suggestions, and we took them. The cheeseburger was the best burger that I have had, in quite some time. The meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Served with batteries fries... We also had the French dip sandwich, with onion rings. My husband stated that it was "really good". That means he loved it. Upon arrival, the place looks a little aged and could use a bit of a face lift. This restaurant used to be a Sambo's (oh how my memories wander back to my childhood, mentioning that) and then Oliver's has been there for 37 yrs. One side of the restaurant is sit down (white table clothes) and the other side is booths and counter seating. This place was Recommended by a few locals. Whatever they are doing...keep it up! I highly recommend Oliver's!

I HIGHLY recommend eating here. My husband and I are staying at the Black Swan Inn and they deliver to your door. The French toast was the best I have ever had in my life. The raspberry jam I had on my toast tasted was soooo good! The toast was amazing as well. GREAT FOOD! I will be visiting this restaurant every time I visit Pocatello.
