Stopped for breakfast on my way though town and glad I did. Both the waffle and Jeff’s Special were delicious. The coffee was also so good I got some to go as well. Cheaper and tastier than any chain, make it a stop if you’re in town.

Wanted to try a new place to eat and this place did not disappoint. I got the lunch special with a sandwich, side, and a drink. The Mac and cheese was so good. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I have had. Don’t forget to try an Italian soda and look at all the fun antiques inside.

Gentleman who took my order was very kind and welcoming. The food is homemade and delicious! I had fresh broccoli/ cheddar soup I couldn't have done better myself! The loaded potato salad was the best I ever had. Been traveling awhile and it was very nice to have some real, homemade food! Reasonbly price, as well! Thank you!

Love this place. The hospitality was amazing . Friendly staff. The special and French dip was very tasteful. Their chicken Alfredo and potato salad was exceptionally spiced. Then the CHEESECAKE was “no words can explain the taste” good, great, well, shoot mouth watering

Great food, service and very friendly. The soups, salads, desserts and sandwiches are all made fresh. Breakfast is served all day and also cooked to order. If you are living in Mtn. Home or traveling, stop by you will be glad you did.

We had a wonderful meal. Had a hard time trying to decide but settled on the sloppy joe. It was the BEST sloppy joe I have ever had! It came with soup and a piece of cornbread that was light and fluffy with just the right amount of crispness. It literally melted in your mouth. We also had a hard time choosing a dessert but settled on the apple dumpling that easily fed the 2 of us and could have fed 3. Everything is made from scratch and owners were so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Such a wonderful find! The food was so good we drove through and stopped in one day and came back again the next to try more menu items as well as talk to the lovely couple that owns the restaurant. We had the Biscuits and Gravy, pastrami sandwich, turkey sandwich and salad.....oh yes and an Apple Barrel desert....AMAZING! The food was fresh and yummy...give it a try!

The Belgian waffle, bananas foster, and cinnamon apple pull-aparts were all tasty, and we had a nice chat with the owners while we waited for our order. We were a little hesitant to enter at first because the storefront and TV programming seemed ultra conservative, but the owners were very welcoming and the menu looked appealing. On top of that, we left with a framed, signed Mets jersey in addition to our breakfast! The decor actually comprises a large assortment of interesting items for sale. It's worth a visit to get a taste of small town Idaho.

Great sandwiches. We sat outside with our 2 dogs. Table serve outdoors. Very friendly and the best customer service I have seen since the pandemic started! They do allow substitutions. All the sandwiches are panenni style, but you can ask for a cold version instead. 2 meals with drinks and 20%tip under 30 dollars. Highly recommend! If you stop by Mountain Home, stop by Apple Barrel.
