amazing. love this place.
A grocery store for the pretensions shoppers. If it was not for U of I and WSU employees this place would be out of business! Everything is too expensive even with the 10% discount for members you have to be in the upper-middle class to afford to shop here. I will stick with WinCo and Costco.
They actually carry single beer cans.
Good. Prices are kind of high.
I absolutely love this store. They have everything you could want or need. And a lot of the products are from local farmers and entrepreneurs. Great product quality and price. By far my favorite place to shop for eco-freindly and climate-friendly products.
Loved it! All of the pre-made deli food was fantastic and the huge selection of healthy, organic food was also very welcome. I liked it so much I even bought myself some of the merch - a CO-OP toque (beanie 😜) and zip-up hoodie.
Amazing place! They have the beat salad bar around. The fresh baked goods are delicious. My favorite thing to eat here are the pesto rolls!
I Ate breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the scrambled eggs tasted exactly like homemade ones!
Great produce, also really good wine/mead prices... Gotta love the pot pies... Deli foods generally great as well... Staff is generally courteous...
A favorite stop anytime we go to Moscow — love the Troll Haus cookies
Always a great shopping experience. Love the food option’s and overall excellent service and experience we are given each time we shop here.
The bakery at Moscow Food Co-op made a special chocolate cake for my sister's birthday. The cake turned out beautifully. Special thanks to Joseph who helped immensely with the process. His kindness absolutely made my day!
If we come through town we like to stop for coffee and pesto rolls. Fun store to wander through also. Love that they have a dog parking station outside!
Too much prepackaged, garbage producing convenience food. Another "Food Co-op" that has lost the balance between "idealism" and "economic success". And only gotten worse with time. Good fresh baked bread though
Great store with lots of healthy options. One of the only places we can find Fines Herbs anymore!
Moscow Co-op had always been friendly, clean, and well lit. Been going to here for years. The bakery bread is to die for and their prices really aren't that bad. Plus they have regular give back initiatives for the community. It's a great store and you won't be sorry for taking a peek inside
Love the staff. The quality of product is awesome but limited, and over priced compared to Amazon and other chains that ship. Many of my regular products were 20-25% more for the same brand. But it is awesome to have someone in out backyard.
No more handmade sandwiches, the way you like it? Why........ We don't like mayonaise. We don't like cheese. No avocado! Hates pickles. No soggy pre-made sandwiches, in terrible wasteful containers and packaging. A plain sandwich, on a plate, thank you. Big 0 for climate change, and waste. Bring back the sandwich bar! :( :( :(
Such a great place to visit for some healthy options! It is worth the price!
Vibe really tanked in late 2019/ early 2020. They don't pay well - even for a grocery store - and it has lead to serious staffing issues. It used to be nice… it's got that sad just-a-brick-in-the-wall mechanical grocery store feel nowadays like the Walmarts of the world but at a higher price. I should have that semi-friendly Trader Joe's or better vibe for what the costs are and the ad campaign is. I go here because it carries the products I like and it's genuinely local. I strongly prefer organic products and less preservatives so this is really my only option. The turnover is really high which makes me think the hippy friendly vibe they market has finally faded to facade. The prices are high...which would be fine to my mind if I didn't constantly hear the horror stories of working there from the youths and the constant staff shortage signs to back it up. Every once in a while I see a new worker or two there that makes it feel nicer than the big box stores but they seldom last more than 2-3 months.
