The coolest little coffee shop. People have a hard time.making London fogs, they did it perfect here. The girls are so sweet
Hottest latte I’ve ever been served. It was literally scalding hot and my mouth is still burned days later. I’m a huge Java fan and have been a customer of the Hyde Park location for 15 years.
Java is one of our favorite places to visit. Keep in mind, if you want to snag one of their delicious cinnamon rolls you have to get there pretty early as they will run out by noon!
We love all the Javas in and around Sun Valley. Nice vibe, good food!!
We ordered 4 things, only one of which was palatable. The berry smoothie was not a smoothie, but a juice. The matcha was completely flavorless. The breakfast burrito is overloaded on black beans and has no seasoning- I unwrapped it and seasoned it myself just so that I could get it down. The breakfast croissant was okay. Service was good. Won’t return.
I went here twice while visiting Sun Valley and was not disappointed! Good coffee, especially oat milk cappuccinos and great pastries, including gluten free items from Three Peas GF bakery. The holiday muffin was cranberry orange and so freaking delicious. I also had the breakfast sandwich on a nice buttery croissant that was pretty good!
Chai tea latte was watered down and cashier was very tired and complained about tipping over three dollars in a sarcastic manner. Short Curly blonde girl with a bull nose ring just not having a good day and wants to share that with each customer. Wouldn’t make a smoothie because she said she didn’t want to. Nice place to go if you like rude people and a nice couch.
Absolutely incredible coffee shop. The OG coffee shop in the area. The bowl of soul is one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had. I usually spend most of my coffee trips to third wave specialty shops, but this place is very special to me. Would highly recommend visiting here, best coffee in Sun Valley in my opinion.
Coffee is delicious but customer service is absolutely terrible. Not worth the coffee to be treated horrible. Tried it twice & will never come again.

Excellent coffee brewed or expresso, and lots of fresh-baked books, as well as hot breakfast options, served by fast, friendly, knowledge people with some of the coolest, boldest, chique and modern personal style tastes. Put simply, I prefer the baristas here over starschmucks any day. Arrive early to avoid the crowds as a decent line often forms by 9. Check the menu online - and I cannot emphasize this enough - know what you want before you go to avoid holding up the line of regulars and folks that know what they want by heart. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Your pets are welcome *outside*, and there are always several dogs, but for the safety and comfort of others you will have to have your pets on a leash regardless of your assurances of it being in *your mind* unnecessary. Parents, try assigning your children a comfortable seat in the comfortable lounge, as there is limited counter space for the line of paying coffee customers and no one is above politely asking your kids to stop grabbing baked goods like playthings. This is my choice place for treat yo'self coffee, and I hope it becomes yours too. Behave. Be kind. And tell your kids to go sit somewhere while you order.
Cool atmosphere. Bad coffee. Strong but bitter and mediocre flavor.
The bowl of soul is a mocha to kill for. Get it.

Breakfast burrito was terrible so many beans you couldn't taste the eggs or bacon. The 4 little girls working behind the counter were stretching and busy drinking their own drinks it took 10 minutes already had the food ordered and 2 people In front of us took 10 minutes to get to the front.
I love there bagel sandwiches with fresh avocados. The best in town.
I cannot share how wonderful the Bowl of Soup specialty is. It's a perfect blend and made my day and visit to Ketchum special! Thank you guys!
Ordered two, double shot lattes to go. As an espresso enthusiast it was immediately clear by grind time and extraction color/flow rate and time of extraction that a single shot was pulled for each. The milk froth looked pale as well. I noticed a gallon of skim milk sitting out next to the barista and asked if they had used that milk and if they had if they could please remake it to which the cashier (who didn’t pull the shots) quickly exclaimed that 2% is the default and that “for sure it’s not skim”. After one taste it was confirmed there was indeed an over extracted single shot in a skim milk latte. Gave the employees several opportunities along the way to change or even remake but ultimately they stood their ground and we ended up asking for a refund as the manager was unavailable. Not the place to go if you are wanting a thoughtfully created espresso based beverage with staff who want you to be satisfied as a customer.
Great Coffee shop! Everyone is super friendly and overall best breakfast and cafe mocha I’ve ever tasted! Didn’t have a croissant but will come here next week!!! 🥐☕️
