The sausage gravy and biscuit is not bad, coffee is okay. They are fair for the price.

Pretty gross all around. My 6$ mocha came out of a gas station cappuccino machine and the sandwich was simultaneously dry and greasy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The person working the register was very nice.

Hands down worst airport sandwich I’ve ever had

Got two sandwiches to go, one turkey and one ham and cheese. They were both disgusting! $25 worth of food went into the flight attendant’s trash bag on the plane. The bread was thick and stale, where it wasn’t soggy. The cheese was like rubber, the lettuce wilted, and neither sandwich had any flavor whatsoever. It was really odd. The bag of chips tasted fine! That was one expensive bag of chips. I would have returned these if we had eaten them in the airport.

If you're debating places and this coffee shop is the last "real food" on the way to your gate, consider turning around to try Bardenay, Smash Burger, or other. Out of several hot menu items despite it still showing on their digital monitors (just turn it off if you don't have it). Out of desperation, I snagged a premade BLT (yikes, I know). At the register to pay "is that it?" (but imagine attitude and impatience). Yes... That's it .. since I tried to order something you don't actually have. The BLT confirmed my expectations that it would be bland, few toppings and very dry bread. Ugh. Whyyyyy. I hate myself for that. But out of limited options..... The salted caramel latte was good... So I'd stick to their coffee and bakery only items if you find yourself here. While waiting for the coffee, several other customers had also tried to order hot items only to be told they don't have it. Again, turn off your monitors! Are you bating customers?

Pretty long line but there was a new cashier learning. They were quick to give out orders thou. Got the white mocha latte, it was good. Also got a sausage and cheese bagel.

Terrible - nothing worked, waited in a long line and then server said her machines are broken all of a sudden and can’t make my latte - then offered me to a voucher to go back to windstorms and get one there! Only reason I gave two starts instead of 1

Friendly service. Usual airport coffee amenities with local Flying M beans. Sandwiches, bagels, fruit, yogurt cups. PRICE CHARGED was $1 over posted menu price. Coffee has been volatile lately. Unique self serve express coffee for $3 cash.

Coffee was acceptable but the bacon breakfast burrito was terrible. Bland and mushy with uncooked white things that appeared to be hash browns.

Coffee is good, breakfast burrito is not. Tastes like a 2 day old microwaved soggy mess.

We ordered two breakfast burritos. They were barely warm, and tasted like they were two days old. They were out of what we wanted to order. The coffee was average at best.

Coffee was really bad for a place that promotes coffee. Couldn't even drink it. Grab and go biscuits were what you expect, overpriced and OK.

River City was ok overall. The service was good, the food was subpar but by airport standards probably above average. The line moved very slow so if you're passing by and don't have much time before your flight you're probably going to have to skip this place.

Review not about River City Coffee (although cashier was very kind), but about some customers there. I needed a drink for the plane to take medicine. With the line so long, I grabbed an iced tea ($3.49 + tax) and went to the couple at the register and offered $6.00 to them to add the iced tea to their bill due to my flight already boarding. They said okay, the employee rang it up right away and the couple handed it to me. They also gave me my money back, and said the tea was on them, to just pass on the good deed forward. You see....I was boarding a flight to go home after finding out my mom has just passed away. The couple have no idea how moved I was by their simple gesture! I cried all the way to my gate knowing that there are still really great and caring people left in this world. There kindness came at a time I needed it most! I thanked them several times, and I hope that they might see this. But basically.....Boise has the most kind & caring people that I continue to meet (even for directions), after living there for 15 months now! Will definitely be passing the good deed forward!!

Decent. But the cinnamon roll was legit. Or I was very hungry. Either way I’d get one again.
