One of my go to brunch places in Boise. Great food options, decent outdoor seating and very friendly staff. It’s first come first serve here so wait times maybe long in summer. Here’s what we ordered and how we felt: Nutty buddy - 5/5 Banana split - 5/5 Avocado toast - 4/5 Veggie sandwich - 4/5 Waffles with berries and whip - 5/5
Awful service today! We ordered a bagel with just egg and cheese but the bagel was toasted so much that we couldn’t cut it or bite into it at all! I unfortunately had to send it back because it was inedible with how hard it was. (Not to mention the menu had a different price listed that was higher at the register). I asked if it could possibly be remade but the woman working was NOT pleased! She gave us back a extremely soggy bagel not even toasted one bit and the wrong bagel we ordered the first time. So I tried to ask for at least a slight bit of toasting to be done on it but they were just angry and fed up with us at that point she took it and gave it back in the same condition straight up lying that it was toasted? It was so disappointing that if THEY mess up an order, you are kind of stuck. Clearly the customer doesn’t come first here! Will not be going back. It wasn’t a special order or anything…literally just wanted to be able to bite into it the way it was intended to be!
I used to love this place. They are slowly loosing their edge in terms of quality. I ordered oatmeal this morning and it was not hot and loaded with what appeared to be brown sugar. Go back to the quality of years gone past. Also ordered the fruit bowl with yogurt and the presentation and lack of all the fruit of the past left much to be desired.
My veggie bagel was awesome and I got a good amount/variety of fruit from my fruit cup! Was very impressed
Fantastic food. Massive portion sizes of tasty "healthy" bakery items. Loved it.
WONDERFUL local coffee shop with great brews and delicious food and treats. Only downside is weird hours and they are usually jam packed busy with a full house of customers. But if you're not in a rush and don't mind the wait for a better than average roast and nosh, this is the place to be!
This place lives up to it's name! Everything in this restaurant is BIG...large on location, personality, and portions. There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it went pretty quickly and we were able to grab a seat with no issue. I ordered the Cowboy Breakfast and thought it was pretty good. Unfortunately, the only way they cook their eggs is steamed, which does give them a lighter, fluffier texture than your traditional scrambled eggs, but I can't get my husband to eat here with me because he specifically doesn't like the texture. I also got a scone because they looked delicious in the case, but it was dry and not fresh at all, so I just won't order a baked good again. But, the ambience and bright bold decor was fun and made it feel like a real local Boise original! I'll definitely be back!
Ordered a full OBGYF and a waffle and after waiting 45 min I finally asked a girl that was horribly rude and looked me up and down to check on my order and low and behold it had been sitting in the back for some time and was not the full size OBGYF I ordered so i asked her nicely for a full size and she lied to me and said they didn’t have any while looking me up and down. So my straight up Karen came out and demanded a refund and suddenly they had the full size and got me one. Awful employees and service. I have come here for years but never ever will again. Oh just realized no silverware! It’s fun to look at i guess.
Cute ambience. Lots of things I want to try but I won't be ordering the veggie quiche again. It looks amazing but it tasted like I was mostly eating melted cheese.
Super good and ran by amazing people, very high quality service and food.
I love the scones that are bigger than my head and their cinnamon lattes
Breakfast is delicious and portions are so big you have enough for 3 meals! Pastries are outrageously good, and coffee is pretty great too, but the food is what brings me back!!
Oh my heavens! The baked goods here are sinful! I got a coconut cream scone and a 7 layer bar. These things are huge!! Very friendly staff and cute little spot. I drove from accross town to check them out. I like trying local coffee shops vs the chains. This one is a winner!
Forget about farm to table, at this place you feel right at the farm. From the decore, to the comfort food choices, everything is farm themed. We probably waited 25 minutes in line before ordering. There was a full breakfast menu, so I would consider this more of a diner, but we visited because it was advertised as a coffee house. We eventually settled on biscuits and gravy and the banana split waffle. When they said large biscuits, they really meant it. Bring your apatite! I couldn't eat more than half. My daughter was a little disappointed in the waffle because it said Nutella and what came seemed more like chocolate syrup. Overall this place wasn't my cup of coffee, but it was a fun one time visit while passing through Boise.
After a 35 minute wait with capacity less than half, and 4 groups receiving orders before our wrap/scone was ready, had to request a refund. Used to frequent this place a lot, but no longer going to patronize this establishment. Trying to get a refund was excruciating and still not sure it was done right. No longer recommend this place.
It took a minute to be seated but the wait was worth it. Went for their breakfast and enjoyed every bite! If you are in this area and have never been, you need to try it. Especially if you ♡ bacon!!
It reminds me of a really old butcher shop converted to a small ma and pa coffee and breakfast shop. I really enjoyed this place. It sure looks like a favorite place of many it was very busy.
Place was packed for Breakfast, that's how you know. Soooo good! Had The Breakfast Club + bacon. Yummy!!
Food was great and good portions. But, I just wish there was a server, better seating (not just find a place to sit on your own) and the food came out sooner. You are trying to finish your food and you have people stalking your seats. Makes you feel rushed.
Expect to wait even when they're not busy. Wife and I ordered a burrito and some eggs at a point in the morning that wasn't overly busy. It took about 45 minutes. No one cared or checked in on us to explain why it was taking so long.
