This place has the best seasonal drinks. The best one right now is the Matcha pistachio latte!

Atmosphere is better than the food, coffee was great. Dietary restrictions aren’t accommodated very well. Limited dairy free options. Vegan bagel ordered but came with real cream cheese because they were out of vegan cream cheese. That’s not how it works. If you don’t have dietary restrictions, probably 5 stars. Suggestion for owner: for premade dishes (bowls and wraps) make ~5% with no cheese and post on menu that you have limited dairy free quantities of these items each day. Don’t have to change existing food prep workflow much to expand your offering.

Very nice place for coffee! The atmosphere here is awesome! And lots of seating and the restaurant itself is very nice! The coffee/tea is made extra hot though even if you ask for it to be child temperature, so be careful if you are sensitive to that or want to actually enjoy your tea/coffee right away. Otherwise, flavors are amazing. Parking is a little difficult in this location depending what time you get here, but if you drive around a few times usually a spot will open up. Very fast service and friendly staff though!

After a lackluster review a month or so ago, I’ve since seen great improvements at the espresso machine and experienced coffee that is equal to the atmosphere!

The coffee was great! The food was fairly standard for a café. The breakfast selection is interesting and unique. The atmosphere is amazing I love the decor, the stressed wood tables are beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful despite being incredibly busy!

Alchemist has a unique menu and super good supersized granola bars. It’s also a cool spot to study.

Alchemist on Overland is my absolute favorite coffee shop to go to in all of the Meridian/Boise and surrounding areas. The staff is always incredibly kind, and helpful in indecisive situations. The management is fantastic, and you can see the connection and communication between the management and staff is such a good balance! I recommend this coffee shop on a weekly basis and make it a point to visit at least once a week, and as often as possible out side of that. The white chocolate lavender latte is always my go to but I’ve branched out on other things as well and have never been disappointed! Definitely make Alchemist a must stop location whether you’re just passing through the city, or already local!!

Alchemist is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of the Boise area! Admittedly i am not from here. I live in Portland. But i visit Boise frequently. There are a lot of coffee shops in the area but few on par with Alchemist. It is a class all to itself. Delicious coffee & food (their beans seem more carefully roasted & fresh), well balanced menu, fast and attentive staff, super cool space & merch, and decent prices! What else is there to want?!

I love this place. Creatively themed drinks that are enjoyable. The only issue I've had is internet instability. I show up excited to spend a few dollars on a couple of drinks and a few hours here writing another book on my laptop only to have to seek wifi access elsewhere.

You'd never expect a warm and comfortable setting by looking at it from the outside. I passed by a dozen times before finally stopping in. The coffee was good, the ambiance was great!

I went there on a Saturday morning, and it was very busy. The tables were full. I got a muffin and coffee both were good.
