Coffee and food is all good, nothing amazing, but the vibe and layout make this a very comfortable place to relax and get your day started

Tasty coffee. Meh bagels. Some good veggie options. Counter service, bus yourself and yet they ask for tips.
The drip coffee was not good. Burnt and watered down. I'm guessing all the speciality drinks are good, but I'd expect someone roasting their own beans to have a good drip to show it off, and to keep it fresh throughout the day.
Delicious coffee and food. Eric helped us at the register today and I loved his upbeat personality. He is awesome!
I love the vegan BST and treat myself every couple weeks. This particular location makes it better than the others in my experience. I also really like their dirty chai period I get it with oat milk period it's not too sweet and they make their chai tea in-house it is delicious!
We love this place. The atmosphere is pretty hip and the coffee/food is fantastic. They make a great Cortado, which is a tell of a good coffee shop.
I've been meaning to try this location ever since it opened! From the drive by on 27th I could tell I would love it just from the window coverings and the choice of pendant lighting I could see. Finally this morning I was like LETS GO! So happy to be here! It is just the vibe I was hoping for. There is a mix of High Top and Low top tables ALL HAVE POWER OUTLETS AT THE TABLES! (can I get an amen!) So smart thinking and so appreciated. There is also a more loungey side with sofas, chesterfields & cute little accent chairs. (For those of you non-working coffee shop folks!) The menu is extensive. From HUGE cinnamon rolls, to breakfast bowls, to bagels. There is def. something for everyone. I'm an avid energy drink drinker, so I ordered an infused red bull, kind of lame I know for a craft coffee shop. But the drink menu had a ton of options and they all sounded yummy. Shout out to Harley, who on our first visit made us feel so welcomed as we took our time devouring the menu & options! We Will Be Back! A LOT! :)
Great place to vibe or get some serious work done
I just had the best experience here! I didn’t really like the dirty chai that I got, and the staff there made me a different drink. Then even walked it over to my seat and handed it to me. Such a great staff at this location, the owner and manager should be proud of them! Also the the new drink was AMAZING, sf vanilla latte for the win!
Best coffee I get the brown sugar cinnamon latte and it is delicious I will always come back for that my favorite it's so goood in my tummy
Food and coffee was delicious! We split the spicy bacon burrito because they are huge!
Love the atmosphere and staff here! Matcha is just as delicious as the Eagle location.
This is my fave coffee place, I think ever!! The coffee is superb, the cinnamon rolls melt in ur mouth, and the staff is above n beyond!!! Adam is exceptionally skilled, pleasant and helpful….and cute! Ha! Thanks Alchemist….rock on!!!!
What a cool coffee shop! A variety of seating options and a great vibe. Coffee was delicious and my breakfast burrito hit the spot. This place is within walking distance of where I live. Superb hang out factor here.
The modern touch. Alchemist is new, fresh, if not a little sterile, and quite the addition to the West End. Likeable self roasted coffee (I enjoyed the latte, but don't expect a high level review as I don't have a fine coffee palate), paired with a really good (and fresh) blueberry bar, made my afternoon. While the patio is a bit anemic and should see expansion and beautification for next summer, the interior radiates contemporariness, with modern art, grey-wood decor, and some lifestyle adornments that prompt self-assuredness. The selection of eclectic non-coffee drinks, which I didn't try, raises hopes of continuing thoughtfulness in the food/drink offerings. I'll come back.
Great coffee! They roast their own and it’s delicious. Great seating and room for multiple strollers. Check this place out for a hip spot near whitewater park.
Hi! My name is Abbey and I was this Alchemist’s first customer :-) I often forget to leave reviews but wanted to make sure I remembered today. I have enjoyed walking to this coffee shop since they’ve opened. Food is good. Drinks are delicious (with rotating specials). There are different seating options and areas allowing for room to chat and still enough quiet to get work done. And all of the staff is always very kind and good at their jobs. Today when I walked in and Trinity, running the cash register, asked me how I was doing I answered honestly. My day didn’t start well and I was ready for something delicious to hopefully turn it around. Trinity took the time to make me genuinely feel better and actually put a smile on my face by the time I’d placed my order. And the drink was perfect. Please come spend your money here. To the owner, please give everyone who works here lots of money. Five stars for Trinity.
