Haven't been here since before the pandemic and as always, they never disappoint. Great everything. Just love the way the food tastes like homemade.

Amazing food for a very good price. It’s a small local cafe. We came early in the morning and all locals were dining there. The fried rice omelette was delicious and the banana pancakes has nice pieces of banana and tasted delish. Would definitely eat here again.

Perfect classic neighborhood greasy spoon diner serving everyday Hawaiian style breakfast. Exceptional service, very fast, the food was exactly what I wanted it to be. Maybe not the best place for you if you're accustomed to Denny's/Cracker Barrel/IHOP/etc. But if you like good down home breakfast, then this is for you.

OMG I Love Rocky's!!! The fried rice omelet is to die for. Pair that with a short stack of banana pancakes for breakfast and you are in a food coma till noon. But loving every minute of it. I went to Rocky's when it was next door. I loved looking at the little scraps of notes near the register, the checklist near the take out window, the bar stools. The new place is a little bigger, and the people, food and atmosphere is still fantastic. This is one of those family institutions that needs to keep going. It makes you feel at home, it makes you happy just being there. Oh, and if you have a few minutes after your meal, go wander through the fish market and shops next door at the Waipahu Festival Marketplace.

Food and most staff still the same, just dining in is somewhat limited.

This painting of Waipahu Depot St. is in the restaurant along with a lot of historical photos of the sugar mill era. Go to Rocky's if you want a nice, nostalgic 50's-60's coffee shop experience. The staff is great and the food is, well, coffee shop food. Check the specials menu inside the cashier's alcove to expand your choices beyond the usual coffee shop fare. Once you're nestled in one of their booths, lovingly cared for by the staff, you won't want to hurry back to the present day.

I was telling the Aunty working the counter yesterday morning. The last time I visited Rocky's was back in 1984. They haven't missed a beat in regards to the hospitality and quality of the food (so Ono). Although it was renovated a few years back, the ambiance and nostalgic themes still remained. One of the few original mom and pop left in America. A taste of the past and loyal generations of customers still frequent a unique peace of Americanca.

This is one of those nostalgic coffee shops that's tried and true. The Aunties there are super nice and the food is consistently good! They close by 11:30 a.m. I had the fried rice omlette with green onions. So ono!

The Banana Pancakes (short stacks) with fresh slices of bananas 🍌😋 tops it....and the edges are just crispy just right....like a moist banana bread....the "rocky special" is the bomb!..gotta have the fried rice to go with the egg omelet...

Home cooked meal! Best way to describe it! The aunties will take care of you! I suggest you order for takeout since the place has limited seating and a long wait time, nevertheless, the breakfast is definitely so ono! Get that fried rice omelette with a side of something! Best breakfast in Waipahu by far!
