Beau and Jo are commensurately good people. Beau brings so much energy and life to the business, stopping to ask every person what brings them to Kauai (he knows who is regulars are, for sure). We told him we are on our honeymoon, and he and Jo took the time to celebrate us (even getting the whole cafe to cheer). They wished us many good years and had so many kind words of encouragement. And besides all that, the cafe has such a unique, upbeat vibe, and the coffee is amazing! The iced vanilla latte and chocolate croissants were on point. If you’re in search of good coffee, good vibes, and good people, look no further ❤️
This place gets ten stars. The owner is the most positive energetic person I’ve ever met and goes over and beyond to make everyone feel awesome. While we were there he greeted about 90% of his customers by name and the ones that were new (like us) he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and tell us about the daily specials and what was on the menu. I overheard him say that they were operating out of a coffee/food truck for ten years and just recently moved into a permanent location. The vibe is awesome with tons of beautiful live plants. The pastries are world class, I got the apple crumble thing which was like a cinnamon roll made with croissant dough and baked apple. Insanely delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone within many miles of the location.
Best place for coffee in Kauai! The owners are wonderful and make every customer who walks in feel special and valued. The cinnamon scrolls are to die for as well!
Beau and Jo were absolutely amazing! This is hands down the best Coffe shop in all of Kauai, Beau will turn anybody’s day around and make you leave with a smile. 🤙
Immaculate, fun vibes. Exquisite.
One of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to! The shop owners and staff are the nicest people you’ll ever meet, the shop is so nicely decorated and the coffee was sooo good with great options! The food and sweets array could not have been prettier or tasted better. Top Tier experience!
The owner is an absolute legend, he closed early one day and he seen us walk up and still help us out with a couple of the best cold brew coffee we have all had hands down. And helped us out on some local places were the locals go.
New brick and mortar location of long standing food truck slinging organic smoothies, croissants, bagels and coffee. Also featuring Orly pastries. Smoothies excellent and creative. Smoked salmon schmear very good. Real gems tho are the staff and owners who have tons of positive energy and personality. Recommended.
So amazing! I had the Sleepy Giant and it was great. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, highly recommend!!
Roaster Call, very good coffee!
Awesome hidden gem we lucked out finding. Amazing breakfast and drinks, great decor, and an owner with one of the most fun and outstanding personalities we’ve encountered anywhere.
Make this your first stop for coffee on the island! The atmosphere and care put into your experience will uplift any bad mood. I am not exaggerating when I say everyone in this place is smiling. Joe and his team do a great job welcoming you to Hawaii.
Best coffee I’ve ever had. Very fun place.
AMAZING BEST COSTUMER SERVICE BEST FOOD THE BEST
What a fun coffee shop. Jo is the man! If someone yelled at you when you walked in and made you feel valued and welcomed, it was him. He and the rest of the staff are hustling and bustling getting everyone their coffee as soon as humanly possible.. just chill I regularly was 5-10 people deep in line and it flew by! They are understaffed and they acknowledge it and ask for your patience while you wait... just relax and wait. It really isn't that long and you won't regret it, food was fresh and tasty.. I've had an iced dirty Chai and a quad espresso over ice, both were made well and tasted great! The food was delicious and fresh! My favorite part was how fresh, the tomatoes were cold which I love, the cream cheese was also cold, the croissants were warm and fluffy and toasted just right.. yum. I've been here 2/4 days and I'm about to head there now for 3/4 days of my trip.
It's weird how one of the best coffee shops in the world is on a small island!
Rainbeau Jo's is less a location and more an experience. You walk in and it feels like a party, lots of smiling faces, music pumping and Beau welcomes everyone as they come in. The coffee is top shelf, I've had the sleepy giant and regular lattes, neither have any acidity and the flavors are well balanced, nothing taking away from the other. Their food is light, bagels and sandwiches, but very tasty. When you walk out of the place you will feel like the sun is brighter and you had a shot of espresso whether or not you had any coffee.
This is by far my favorite coffee place on the island! So many times when I go into other high end coffee shops, the staff looks miserable or annoyed, and the vibe is just low...which makes an $8 coffee purchase feel less fun. Lol The owners here are incredible, genuine, and you can just feel how passionate they are about what they do. That vibe permeates everyone inside. They are all about the little details that will bring a smile or laugh. They knew my name on my 2nd visit, and made sure I had a punch card since I forgot. And on top of the vibe, it's also the BEST LATTE I've ever had! WINNING!
Excellent service, the owners are wonderful to talk to. The establishment is spick and span with a fun upbeat atmosphere, everything is on brand to the nines, fun place to sit and have breakfast. I had the Cowabunga Special (so much dill cream cheese!) and shared an Apple Cruffin (a croissant muffin that was one of the best apple things I've ever had) with my husband who also got the Honey Badger Bagel (delightfully simple and sweet with cinnamon) and the Sleepy Giant coffee (fantastic and dairy free cold brew). Will definitely be back!
Can’t say enough good things about Rainbeau Jos in their new building! It’s so nicely decorated and Jo and Beau are the kindest most energetic owners working the counter themselves! All the food and drinks I’ve tried so far have been sooo good! The iced vanilla latte was the best coffee I’ve ever tried and the mason jar it came in is adorable! The strawberry fields bagel is to die for! Can’t wait to make this a regular spot :)
