The Kalaheo Café is an "Island Gem". We love the atmosphere, the quality of service, and the incredible food. We stopped here for an evening meal after hiking Waimea Canyon and it certainly did not disappoint. If we didn't have to leave the island the next day, we would have returned again! Thank you for such a great dining experience! This is now our "go to" restaurant on Kauai!

Read the menu while in line. Easy ordering and paying at the cashier. Got a number and found a table near a window. Server brought our orders. Omelets were done to our specifications and tasted good. Friendly staff. Brief rain shower, then sunshine ☀️. Recommend this restaurant.

Cinnamon rolls! Wow. They are amazing. Only reason not 5 starts is because they have signs on the table saying please don’t stay too long

So delicious! 10/10. We went at 9:30 am and had to wait 10 min for a parking spot to open up. We ordered quickly and food service was very fast. We had the customized omelet and French toast. The best French toast ! Will 100% be back next trip.

Food was good but overall had a bad experience. Their ordering/seating system is horrible for larger parties. We arrived and a couple of us got in line to order and my wife and I and our baby grabbed a table to get the baby situated. One of the waitresses came over and told us we had to move for another party because we hadn’t ordered yet. She wasn’t rude but she definitely wasn’t caring about our situation or friendly about it. If you’re a small group and don’t mind waiting/having trouble finding a table it’s a nice spot. Recommend avoiding this place if you’re a larger group. Food also took about half an hour.

Great quality food at reasonable prices. Different style of service but works well for this popular venue.

Very busy for a reason. Excellent food, and they do their best to serve the customers. Parking can be a challenge during busy hours. Best breakfast I've had on my vacation.

Nice place to get lunch. I got the applewood smoked bacon and cheddar burger, which was good along with the onion rings being nice and crispy. The burger could have been cooked a bit closer to the temperature I requested as I wanted medium and it was well done. I got a fountain Pepsi which at most I've ever been charged was a small refill fee, but here I was charged over $3.50 to get a second one. Those two things hold it from a 5 star review for me.

Our favorite place to eat on Kauai, both breakfast and dinner. The food is fabulous, the service is very good and friendly, and you just get a very Aloha vibe from everyone. Gluten free options are very plentiful and they are excellent (especially the bakery items, which may be limited.) Honestly, some of the best breakfast I've ever had... Anywhere! Prices are also very reasonable... Especially for Hawaii. You won't regret a visit here!

A popular place for coffee and breakfast. We went at 8:00 on a Friday and snagged the only available table. Delicious and large omelets, hash browns, and grilled corn muffins. Excellent coffee!

Decent food. Poor service. One staff member informed me I wasn’t allowed to sit although I have a disability and my family was ordering food. I was discriminated against as a person of color with a disability. I will never return here.

Family-style eatery w/reasonable prices & friendly service from staff. Great coffee drinks, bakery & breakfast selections. A great stop for coffee or breakfast on the way to visit Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Park!👍🤙👌

This is the place for breakfast or lunch on the south side ( we didn’t try at dinner, but I’m sure it’s great too). Great fish specials and salads. Loved my breakfast burrito and sandwich. We ate here 3 times in a week! But the CARROT CAKE! Must try! Best ever. Friendly service.
