Stopped here first thing in the morning and was not disappointed. Who doesn't like a conveniently placed coffee shop with a drive thru. The lattes were very good.
Best coffee on the island! So glad I found this location close to work. Cappuccino foam was outstanding. Staff is really sweet there too.
We bought these humongous muffins which the kids loved and their cardamom latte was simply divine. Break away from the boring Starbucks and try this instead! The service was great as well.

Honeybee latte is amazing. Wish I could have it every day of my life. We had coffee here and at their other location in Kihei every day of our Honeymoon. The staff at this location in particular were SO friendly. They have lots of cool drink options too!

Really high quality drive through coffee. Be prepared to wait awhile if there's a line of cars. You can order from either side.

This is the best coffee I had in all of Hawaii on our trip and it was the first place we went right off the airplane! How lucky! We got iced lattes with oatmilk and the coffee taste is just so good. I'm kicking myself to not have bought some grounds to take home!
Love this little drive through. Customer service is so good with these guys and the staff is so friendly! Oh and the coffee is amazing!

Personally I always tend to get black coffee or an Americano on my first visit. This ensures I have the chance to enjoy the full flavor of the select coffee/espresso bean the shop features. Akamai in Maui was bold, hot, and strong! The staff, three friendly young women, were fantastic. This shop features a drive thru and a walk up window. While I only left with an Americano and a delicious pull apart cinnamon roll, they offer a chai latte that is made from concentrate using their "secret recipe." I am sure it is fantastic! I had a great visit by the way. Be sure to stop by, support local, and enjoy a hot or cold beverage while enjoying your stay in Maui. To the staff at Akamai Coffee Co., Mahalo!
