The staff and the barista crew are fast and friendly. I did find that the food selection was, in my opinion, a bit limited. The outside seating area was UGLY and in shambles as there was no covered or shaded areas unless you found a table next to the bldg that provided temporary shade. Which is too bad because prior to the pandemic it was a lot. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this Ebar just a 3.

I really wanted to like this place because their coffee is pretty good. The failure here was their food preparation because I got food poisoning, and particularly disheartening was the utter lack of empathy and emotional intelligence exhibited by their "Specialty Coffee Manager", Kendra Marquez. So on a recent visit to eBar at Nordstrom Ala Moana, I ordered their "chicken pasta alfredo" for $8.50. Notwithstanding the fact that it came in a tiny container similar in size to a side order of KFC small cole slaw, the food made me violently ill. Now I don't have a sensitive stomach. I think the last time I threw up something was a few *decades* ago. So there was definitely something wrong with the food at eBar. It was the ONLY thing I ate that day so my illness could not be attributed to anything else. When I initially reported it to someone there, by phone, a few days later, I asked to speak to manager so that similar incidents wouldn't affect other patrons. Kendra called me back and though she took the time to listen, she was far more intent on gathering the facts for her protocol and incident report, and to relay them to the kitchen, than to truly appreciate the sickening effect their product had on me. Some advice to this manager -- she may know "specialty coffee" but she needs some tips on handling customers because: 1. There was never an apology from her about what I experienced which was, quite frankly, a violent illness. There was zero empathy. Customer Service 101 should have taught her that as lesson #1. 2. There was never an initiative to offer, at minimum, a refund for the product that sickened me. It was only offered when I asked. Why would it have been acceptable to her, for even a moment, to charge me for a product that made me sick? I hope she can deal better with future customers who report similar incidents like this. One of the best places for coffee at the mall. Good coffee. I come here often after work to unwind and get my grande Americano. The wonderful staff pretty much all know my order and just ask 'the usual'? I won't even get any other drink because I appreciate their knowing what I order lol. They are all friendly and like I said, I come here at least 4 to 5 times per week. I love the outdoor seating but I wish they would bring back the umbrellas, it can be uncomfortable during a hot sunny day and with evening rain, the seats under the awning are limited.
Offers indoor seating. Limited tables. Outdoor seating, many tables and chairs. I prefer outdoor because of fresh air and fairly comfortable pending weather conditions. Cappuccino is ok, depends on batista making drinks. Sometimes too much milk so no coffee flavor but overall it's ok. I usually order 1 regular 2 shot Cappuccino and 1 dry 2 shot Cappuccino and mix the two to get more flavor
The smoothies are really great! The bakery items are exceptionally in taste.
Prices here are on par with Starbucks, but the Caffe Mocha I got was much better than the one I got from the siren. Fast and friendly service.

Friendly & efficient customer service. Located inside Nordstrom they specialize artisan coffees. They got other refreshments as well like tropical teas & fruit smoothies. They got gelato as well. Ordered the tropical green tea cooler & t’was just okay. The affogato is pretty good. Perfect shot for those who want some extra energy to get by their day.

It’s a bit hard to find if you’re looking for it from inside Nordstrom. It’s on the second floor hidden from the view. It’s easier to find from outside. The sitting area is very relaxing and quiet. I really appreciate that it’s one of the few place that allows to order coffee in a real cup. But the coffee is passable, the milk to coffee ratio is off.
