I've eaten here several times since moving to the island. Food is fresh and tasty, coffee is well blended, phenomenal service and it's black-owned! 🤙🏽
10/10 when it comes to friendliness of the staff, which is why it pains me to talk about the not so pleasant experience. I watched the cashier (although friendly) mess up multiple orders. I almost felt like he wasn’t listening to the customers - to include myself, which created a significant amount of customers coming in saying they were missing something or the drink was incorrect. I asked for 2 iced lattes and he repeated back “hot” which was concerning. Then my order was completely skipped and I finally asked where my order was after seeing multiple customers that ordered after me receive their drinks before me. I saw who might have been the manager/owner doing damage control - even offered a guy free banana bread for the trouble with his order. Just seemed like a lot of these mixups could have been avoided with a cashier who was paying closer attention
Cool location, downtown safe and love the workers. I love the Keto option for my coffee. They roast there own coffee, best I've had in Oahu!
If you need coffee or a quick bite, look no further than Local Joe! Friendly and excellent service! The iced vanilla latte was perfect. The espresso was bold (no detectable nutty notes, if you don’t like that) and balanced perfectly with the milk and syrup. We also ordered the vegan breakfast burrito, which was flavor packed! Be advised it is a little spicy, but so delicious. Overall, fantastic place and we will be sure to return.

Yummy smoothies, delicious coffee (my mocha with mac nut milk was drool worthy) AND they were playing Prince and Bobby Brown so the combo makes this a must visit for me next time I’m in HI.
5 shakas out of 5 shaka The younger woman doing the register was incredibly nice and on top of her game calling out when food was on the was ready and seeing what people needed. The gyro was great along with the bowls. Coffee was on point. The decoration of the place was awesome and it was cool temperature wise which was very refreshing. Bonus is the views are a total vibe and you can see aloha tower.

My favorite place for good coffee. This is a must try place!!!! I’ve been to many coffee shops in Honolulu. This is my absolute favorite because, they roast the beans fresh in the shop daily. As soon as you walk up, there’s a wonderful aroma that greets you within the block. The coffee is bold, strong and flavorful. I highly recommend this place give it a try and they sell their freshly roasted beans here too, So you can take home a fresh bag of coffee beans.
Super sweet workers, the best latte I've had on the island! And for a reasonable price:) Not much indoor seating which is a bummer.

Not open when they say they're open on google maps. Only open til 2pm. Drove all the way here, paid for parking and the shop was closed
This coffee shop is amazing! So, delicious drinks, I definitely recommend to grub a cup of coffee here! Cafe Mocha was incredibly delicious, I liked it so much. The service was great, and atmosphere of the coffee shop was nice.
Very lively place. Staff is friendly. Menu is limited but good healthy stuff specially because we are vegetarians. We ordered power wrap and veggie bagel and both were delicious. Their coffee is great and they do some cool pictures on the coffee. Overall highly recommend this place.
