I like how they have author names for their drinks. The Victor Hugo (s'mores iced coffee) was ok. It had more of a burnt marshmallow aftertaste than anything. Despite an extra pump of syrup, it wasn't very sweet or flavorful . I should have asked for extra cream too. The sausage roll was decent, as was the red velvet Belgium waffle. Not great outdoor seating, especially with it being located right next to a gas station, but it did the job. Would still give this place another try given their extensive menu and my desire to try getting a seat inside. I found it small inside and not very cozy.
Always a great place to hang woth friends, have a good cup of coffee and the cinnamon rolls are delicious
When you think of a quiet, relaxing place to work on your latest manuscript...think of this place. The food is great and the coffee is superb. The selection of local, published artists was also a pleasant surprise. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last!
Such a fun and tasty locally owned Coffee Shop that you don’t want to pass by!! My daughter (8) and I dropped by this morning (4/1/23) for drinks before her softball practice and we both loved the place! I hate I can’t remember the remarkable barista’s name that took our order. She was extremely patient with my daughter, who is shy, while I tried to get her to speak up and place her hot chocolate order. We talked books after I ordered an iced Jack London (S’more Iced Latte) with 3 shots of expresso. I love how all of there drinks are named after different authors! Let me tell you books and Coffee are two of my favorite things!! Both my Latte and E’s Hot Chocolate were amazing! We sadly didn’t have time for breakfast, but are definitely planning on going back soon to try out the french toast and chocolate chip pancakes!! This cafe has the coziest and friendliest atmosphere around!!
Speedy service, kind, accommodating and welcoming. I love the little authors nook.
Love the atmosphere, coffee, selection, service. My favorite place in all of Warner robins for coffee, i wish it was open a little later to go after work (after 3 pm).
Wow. I regret waiting a year before stepping in here! It’s hard to find cozy, unique, truly inclusive spots in this cookie cutter town but BF is just that. Amazing menu selection, delicious sweets, and the most calming atmosphere. I love the pay-it-forward board, community cupboard and library, and overall detail given to make sure ALL people feel welcome. Will definitely be back!
My first visit to Between Friends was over a year ago, and I recall being thrilled and pleasantly surprised at the cozy coffee shop. The artsy decor and delightful author-inspired drinks make this place one-of-a-kind! My friends and I would race here after our morning classwork to study and also to chat and laugh with the kind-hearted hard-working staff that make Between Friends truly special. Here, all sorts of people from all walks of life come together, sharing life's ups and downs and everywhere between over a piping hot Hemmingway, a sweetly sophisticated Jane Austen, and the list goes on and on! (I've yet to try the entire menu, but I'm close!) Whether you're studying up for an exam, hanging with your book club, grabbing a latte with your BFFs, or just swinging by before the morning commute, Between Friends is the place to be!
Don't be deceived by its location next to a gas station ... once inside everything is perfect: the food, the coffee and the ambience.
I thought it would be exciting to try this new spot while I was in town, when I came in, it’s nice and cozy and cute. They have several variety of teas and coffee‘s and flavors. I order the strawberry French toast however, I wasn’t happy with it because the warm French toast was topped with very cold strawberries, and when I asked exchange it, they did not let me. Just didn’t think that was appropriate to not allow me something else being that i didn’t expect ice cold strawberries on top.
Good coffee, good service, and quality food all at a great price.
Coffee is amazinggg! Just wish they opened at 6 so I could get a cup everyday on the way to work!
Friendliness of Staff 5/5 Speed of Service 5/5 Flavor of Product 5/5 Energy and Experience 5/5 Like most of you, I've been around the block when it comes to coffee shops. They all do essentially the same thing, right? They're all kinda processed, based on mermaid-brand transactional consumption, a sort of mindless, sterile, soulless force of addiction. So please join me in reimagining my delight when we walked into Between Friends at 930am on a Saturday morning to a bustling, humming community of full tables of chatter, kids dancing around their cinnamon buns, staff calling out orders in rapid pace, and even then the lovely human at the register patiently and heartily walking me and my companion through non-dairy options. My friend and I sat for...I don't know, an hour (what is time?!) enjoying our coffees and the energy inside. I had the Florence, a lavender and coconut latte that I requested made with coconut milk, and it was perfect. I'm always hesitant to order flavored coffees because (a) I generally prefer my coffee black, which may or may not hinge on (b) most flavored lattes are too flavored and overly-syrups and unbalanced and are hard to get through the whole cup. WELL. Please let me tell you about this lovely, nuanced, artful latte I had and how it was very possibly the best flavored coffee I've had. Obviously, YMMV depending on your personal preferences, but Between Friends is my new standing date location and if I lived closer would be a daily/weekly stop. Thank you Between Friends team for making such a delightful oasis in central Georgia!
This is a great coffee shop. The shop has a very large selection of tea and coffee, as well as many desserts and breakfast sandwiches. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, my tea and breakfast sandwich was very good.
I absolutely love this place. It's small, intimate, cozy, and unique. There are so many combinations of drinks that you'll never get all of them. The staff is kind & knowledgeable. The food 😋 is fresh. The decor is inviting. Take a moment & relax. Have a meeting, a think- tank, read a book &have a drink in a real cup.
Jennifer is the best. Every drink we've had we have enjoyed. The staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The place is clean decorative and inviting. It's very unique. If you haven't visited what are you waiting for?
The unique atmosphere and the service was superior to any coffee shop I have ever been to and on top of the best service ....it is women owned!!! Love this joint! Jennifer made the experience the best.
Waiting a long time for a Cappuccino and honestly, was not very good. Will try one more time.
as a self-proclaimed coffee and book nerd, i think i have found the perfect spot! the cafe is very welcoming with extremely friendly service, and the atmosphere is great for getting some work done, hanging out with friends or just enjoying a nice coffee on your own. all the drinks are named for authors which is a super fun concept. there’s also some books available for you to read as well. the coffee was also amazing! if only i lived a bit closer… i would be ecstatic but my wallet would not :)
I LOVE coming here! Everyone is extremely friendly. The coffee, tea, treats, and food is delicious. So quiet and relaxed. I love bringing a little project or a book with me when I come. ❤️
