Best grilled romaine salad ever
We spent one night in Swainsboro and went to Berni’s for a really great steak. If you travel the highway 80 or highway 1 I can recommend to make a stop and visit Berni’s restaurant.
Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Will return.

The service was awesome! Kind and warm atmosphere. Greetings with a smile! Great steak dinner with seasoned fries. Highly recommend if your traveling through and want a wonderful meal:)

Very good food, looking forward to seeing live music there. One note: the serving staff is hit or miss, so definitely recommend sitting at the bar to eat, as the bartenders are fantastic! Chicken meals and Specials, and burgers are great! Full bar, fairly quiet/private booths to accommodate the family-friendly and a quiet girl's lunch at the same time, daily specials, decent prices, but do wish they had Happy Hour as drinks are a little pricey ($6 for well drinks - a $3 or $4 well drink time period would be great!). Been several times, menu and Specials are pretty good. Will definitely be back - hands down better than Rustic Grill, at least for what we are looking for - a few drinks and a comfortable meal on a weekend.
This was our first time at Berni’s on West Main and we were very impressed! Food was phenomenal, portions were generous, and the service was delightful. We will definitely be back!!
Excellent food & great service. Recommend both the French Dip and the crab cake sandwich--delicious. Vodka tonic 👍👍
Everything thing about this place is awesome. The people who work there, the ones my boyfriend and I meet sitting at the bar, the food the whole atmosphere is just a really feel good place to be in. Love coming here when he and I come to Swainsboro every year. I recommend Berni's to anyone living in or just visiting the Swainsboro, Georgia area. I love the little town feeling. So relaxing and again everything we ordered from appetizers to entrees were delicious from the fried bacon wrapped oysters to the shrimp Alfredo and primeribs were amazing. Thank you Berni's for a wonderful experience and a great time.
sorry.. have had previous good experiences but not today! waited 30 min for a chicken salad croissant and tomato soup, and a chicken finger platter with a sweet potato. the croissant and sweet potato were good. the cup of tomato 'soup' was literally a glob of very thick marinara with parmesan on top. sent it back for sweet potato fries, which didn't come before sandwich was finished, so canceled them. chicken 'tenders' were anything but! tough, stringy.. like they were cooked yesterday and microwaved. manager knocked off $2 (gee thanks) so we paid $22 and left hungry.
Oh yeah this some good food here. On the pricey end but it's worth the cost, especially the steak, they always got some special going on too. But the big deal is that cheese cake ohhhh yeah worth the trip itself.
Was absolutely great. E eruthing. We ordered swordfish, bacon wrapped fillet, chargrilled ribeye, shrimp and grits, aligator, crab cakes, and everything was delicious. I will be going back here soon.
Went there Thursday. We had a wonderful dinner of swordfish and oysters. Beautiful inside and outside. After dinner we went out back and listened to a wonderful band until 11pm. A very fun night!

We had big expectations based on the 4.6 rating, so maybe this was going to be a tough gig from the get go. The staff were friendly and service was fast, and the beers inexpensive. If I was to rate Berni's in relation to McDonald's being a 2 star rating and Sa-Za's in Montgomery being a 5 star event. Berni's would realistically sit around a 2 or 2.5.
Food is always delicious and so fresh! The warm pimento cheese and the spicy shrimp are absolute favorites. The ribeye sandwich did not disappoint and their chicken Alfredo is out of this world.
