Excellent food, excellent service! The mahi tacos were great!
Fun place to hang out. Huge covered patio with plenty of fans. Atmosphere was casual but nice. Outstanding service. Super friendly, very attentive and helpful young man. Buuuuut, the food was not great. Everything was pretty average. Pineapple salsa was SO SWEET it tasted like banana was in it. It was sweet enough to use like jelly on toast with not much flavor. The fried avocado was disappointing too. A little heavy on the coating with small chunks of avocado. The avocado itself kind of disappeared with the heavy batter, but the chipotle dipping sauce was good and flavorful. The barbacoa was also VERY sweet. It didn't taste like a savory barbacoa. It was more like a super sweet BBQ, again without much flavor other than sweetness. I can give credit for the mahi being cooked properly though. It wasn't dry at all like some mahi tends to be, and there was plenty of it in the taco. The flavor ideas are there, they just need to be adjusted.
has more of an energetic atmosphere. Food is really good and only place around here where I can get sweet plaintains!

Update 5/3/23 Tried to give this place another chance. Nope, the food was cold, and underwhelming. How can you fail at making a ground beef taco?? We won't be back ------ 4/3/23 Ordered two smothered burritos. 1 chicken and 1 beef. They were basically just rice. Literally had 4 1/4 inch pieces of chicken inside. I had 4 ppl and paid over $70. All items were sub-par. It's not worth it.
One of our favorite places in Statesboro. Excellent service and food, love the Mahi Mahi blackened tacos with the Mango salsa and the guacamole is fresh and very good.
The wooden picnic benches are tiresome to sit on after a while. The talking of other customers makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.
Just super delicious and great service!! Will definitely come back soon! The food is crazy good and the chips are seasoned better than any place that serves chips and salsa!
Amazing servers Amazing food great atmosphere friendly faces no complaints Came for a bachelorette party dinner and was very satisfied with service, they even brought the bride an "exotic" named shot, that "blows" topped with whipped cream and it was hilarious
Amazing waiter who was very attentive to our needs. Food is good as well as the atmosphere. Overall I highly recommend del sur.

Staff was fantastic! Really great atmosphere and drinks were great. I had one of each of their fish tacos and the were ok, can't complain but can't race either, just ok. Loved the fun staff and atmosphere tho.
Thought this place would be good based on all the reviews. The atmosphere was cool and the service was really good. Unfortunately, they served one of our party rancid pork, which we had to send back. The guy who ate the pork spent time in the restroom vomiting and then vomited some more later on. Someone else tried it to see if it was bad, and they also got sick. Hopefully, they got rid of the rest of the meat before anyone else got sick.
Good college place for the kiddos. Tacos good but not spectacular. Server was great.
We've been here for dinner and it was phenomenal. We decided to try out brunch, and it honestly was underwhelming. The mimosas were great, but the food was not worth it. It came out cold and like it had been sitting. The 'scrambled eggs' were questionable.
How does this place have no reviews yet? It's your typical college local restaurant but locals also hang out here. The food is good and they are always making changes to the menu. Brunch is great here, they have mimosa towers. A lot of weekends if you are not there at opening there can be a wait. Love coming here when I am in town and that is often.

I visited last week and had a wonderful experience! I was stuck between two menu items and the maintenance guy, (didn’t catch his name, but the handsome man had a mustache), recommended me one of his favorites. He was so friendly and inviting to our entire table, i ended up ordering what he told me and I loved it! The Customer service from everyone who works there was fantastic.
