Poor service, the food was just ok and overpriced. Maybe we hit them on a bad day. If you decide to eat here bring cash, they do not accept credit/debit, but they do have an ATM.
Ordered regular French toast. It was precooked and cold. Not much food for the price. OJ was $6 a small bottle and tasted sour. Upon leaving I seen a waffle which did look good. Even though I try to do local places when traveling. This one was disappointing. Table rocked and person at register which was a man should look for another job. He seemed annoyed to be there and it was no politeness or friendliness. Waitress was nice and pleasant. Also note there is no bathroom marked. You have to ask. It's the middle door.
I would give this a 1/2 star if I could. The 1st thing that happened was the waitress came and took stuff off our table. We ordered drinks and never got them. Never got silverware or napkins. The waitress couldn't get our order right? $16 for 2 plain eggs bacon a flaky biscuit, and cold grits, Don't come here. Cash only too.
My wife and I had breakfast at this location and were disappointed. My wife’s grits were cold upon arrival, not even melting the room temp butter, and my “3” egg river rambler scramble was mainly potatoes (the eggs must have been from a quail). The huge biscuits were excellent though. When I went to pay the bill with a credit card, I was told they were cash only. When l asked where that was posted, I was told the waitress should have told me, luckily I had the cash. Very disappointed! Walk down the street to Huey’s, you’ll get your money’s worth.
One of the best Breakfast spots here in Savannah. It is worth the wait.
Lovely atmosphere for our breakfast, creative farm/industrial decor. The food was delicious, I had the texas toast french toast- YUM! Hosts and servers were so sweet and attentive. They were able to accommodate our pup, would highly recommend coming here! ***CASH ONLY- but they have an ATM and they do remind you before you’re seated.
yeah this was HORRIBLE. A neurodivergent nightmare. If your dont want to read the whole review just know that your going to be paying about $60 for 2 people and they only take cash, there is an ATM but it costs $4 to actually use. The restaurant itself is relatively small, so if its busy you're going to be waiting a while before you're seated. Me and my mother waited about 30 minutes to be seated (11:00-11:30) when we were placed upstairs in the far left corner by the window. After being seated we took a look at the menus and were shocked with what the prices were. I personally ordered the peach texas french toast without the pecans or caramel, it came with a side of bacon and eggs. I also ordered a sprite which wasnt that good but thats not the point here. The toast itself came out as you'd expect it, cooked, but soggy. The bacon was crisp but slightly cold and there was only 3 pieces, the eggs which were supposed to be 2 looked very sad and small, were unseasoned and cold. there was a live band playing that were FAR too loud for where they were giving me an awful headache. When we were done we went downstairs to pay, and we heard the waitresses complaining about how the owner of the establishment came to the register, took all the money, and then left so they had no change to give people. We ended up just handing them $70 for tip and all, cause the waitress only stopped by to take our orders, deliver the food, and then the check.
Do not waste your time eating here, for many many reasons. One, the only take cash. Yes, they have an ATM. However, it charges $4 to get cash out. Two, our server was absolutely terrible. She never smiled, was very unfriendly and made errors. She put an incorrect order in for someone at our table and while she fixed it eventually, she didn’t explain that that’s what happened. So the first person to get their food at our table, had their food delivered more than 5 minutes before anyone else. By the time the incorrect order was corrected and brought out, the other 3 people at our table were done eating. Typically we would have waited to eat until everyone had their food, but this was not an option here. She did not even offer to discount for the order mistake. Three, 2 people at our table ordered Bloody Mary’s. The drinks were missing several of the ingredients stated on the menu when they were delivered and tasted as if the alcohol was left out as well. Four, the server all of a sudden delivered the check before we asked for it and did not even ask if anyone needed boxes even though we all had food left. Five, we all had food left because the meals were less than impressive. The only pleasant part of this dining experience was the band playing-they were awesome. These Savannah locals will never revisit this restaurant.
Literally the worst meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. We waited forever not because there were so many people eating but because no one cleared any of the tables when people were done eating. After we finally sat down and ordered the food took a while to come out. My grilled chicken wrap was 90% lettuce with a couple of small pieces of chicken. Absolutely terrible place. DO NOT EAT HERE. Don’t be fooled by the cute name. This place sucks.
This restaurant sits within an old building, super charming. Family style seating os the majority of this restaurant, but there are a few smaller tables. The biscuits. Omg. Everything else on the menu is also yummy, including the grits!!! Easy to be seated during the week. No reservations, but worth the wait.
This place is wayyyyy overpriced! The oj is really good. The ham is really good also. French toast was hard as a rock! The portion size for the money is very small! EXCEPT for the biscuits. They are huge! We would not go back or recommend!
Very nice little breakfast spot. Their line and wait times prove why this place is great. Great food and better service.
Best biscuits I've had in years. The bacon was so good, too!!! Sausage Gravy. Just visiting but wish there was a restaurant near home! So good!
Very average, both service and food, especially the most bland grits we've ever had. The giant biscuit was the best part mainly because it was unexpected. Way too many other places to choose from with better food, service, and most definitely price.
Greeter seemed in a bad mood. Waitress was very friendly. Food was all lukewarm except the White Trash Hash and chicken tenders. All food was bland except the crab cake benedict; I would recommend that or basic chicken tenders. The tenders were crispy and hot. This place had a great atmosphere but definitely not worth the pricey meals. The cheese grits wouldn't even melt the cheese. I'm not sure how that happens. The skillets were very tiny except for the one that held the waffle. Overall, it was an okay experience because we had a great waitress, but I will not return. Cash only establishment.
Giant biscuits, brown sugar bacon and live entertainment. Cash only. Food was delicious with the exception of the grits. They lacked any kind of seasoning.
Everything was great! Food, service, atmosphere. The only thing I can find to pick on is the clothesline bacon. It just tasted like burnt bacon. Didn't have any of the flavors described on the menu. But 18 bucks for 3 slices of bacon, i darn sure ate it.
The customer service was friendly and the food was great. Really loved the home made biscuits and Traffic Jam!!!
Food and Service was Phenominal. I had the hungry man breakfast and my wife had the Cuban Sandwich. She said the Cuban sandwich was amazing. Our server recommended it. His service was phenomenal.
Excellent place for southern style breakfast. Super nice staff and food quality was fantastic. Nice vibes here too.
