We spent a cold Saturday night in May here. While the weather was very strange, cold, yet lovely (50°) the atmosphere in this cafe was warm and inviting. As we cozied by the fire, we met a new lovely friend and learned some Savannah history. We ordered Irish Coffee, Lemon Cake, and Chocolate Mousse Cake. All were supremely decadent and perfect for a chilly evening. In addition to lovely pastries, the store front is filled with lovely antiques and tea settings. I love milk-glass and enjoyed seeing such beauty on display.
Nice little coffee shop on the corner by Chippewa Square. Super cozy vibes on the inside, perfect place to sit down and have a few bites and some good coffee. They have a lot of options when it comes to drinks and teas. Tons of baked goods and even sandwiches. Super friendly staff as well.
Super cool coffee shop with excellent lattes. Got to go here and one other coffee shop in the area and this one had the better coffee of the two for sure
We loved this coffee shop! There were so many different coffee options, and the most amazing desserts you’ve ever seen. Plus it had warm, cozy seating - not the sterile atmosphere of too many coffee shops. Had a nice chat with the owner outside and let her know about the good service we had from the young men at the counter (although he did make me want one of those giant gooey brownies too much!).
Amazing food, coffee and fabulous loose tea selection! Quirky, artistic and spacious inviting atmosphere. Wonderful staff.. so friendly.
A downtown Savannah fixture. Laidback vibe and plenty of seating. Coffee is usually good but not great, and the same goes for pastries. Great selection of teas.
everything was going fine until i heard a guy behind the counter say some transphobic stuff. this made me real uncomfortable so i left pretty quick. my espresso was good but im not sure i’ll come here after this.
Staff are very nice, Food is always solid. Not a coffee person, but the matcha latte was decent. Slightly pricey for my tastes - $5 for a single brownie?- but a cute place to sit and enjoy.
The best cafe in Savannah hands down and one of the best ones I've been to anywhere. Everything a good cafe should be: eclectic furniture, great staff, good choice of drinks, cozy real fires and unbelievable desserts. No trip to Savannah is complete without a visit here.
Nice ambience, but during prime tourism hours the wait time is worse than any given starbucks etc. Since they serve prepared hot food plus coffee, it's terribly inefficient. Coffee was fine.
Love the ambience and the decor. However the line was long the service was slow the food was cold when it was supposed to be hot. I asked for it to be warmed waited 12 minutes and then just left.
A espresso shop that has espresso in its name, but does not even have a espresso cup to serve. When asked they said this is how espresso comes!! Of course, espresso was a big joke.
Amazing service and good food! The place is so comfort and delicate decoration
Best coffee shop in savannah in my opinion. Really cool vintage asthetic and a wide variety of coffees. And its definitely cheaper in starbucks. TIP: you park a little further towards forsythe you can find free parking.
The European layer cake was delicious. Would go back for that. A great end to our evening. But our barista was kind of rude. Didn't seem to want to be there. Asked for napkins, he put one dirty one off of the counter in our bag even though we ordered 3 desserts. The manager was more pleasant and helpful. The selection of loose leaf teas was astounding. Note: the peanut butter pie was too cream cheese tasting without enough whipping. The lemon cake was delicious but the nonpareils ruined the joy of the taste.
Amazing place!! I love the seats and the coffe and tea is so good! 10 out of 10 would recommend even if you don't like coffee they will have something for you
I ordered an iced coffee and brownie with no nuts. They were both delicious and the service I experienced with the barista directly serving me was wonderful. I will preface by saying there was a barista I noticed "assisting" other customers who came off quite clearly as short and annoyed at both their colleagues and patrons. Not sure if they were having an off day or not, but if you are going to work an extremely customer-facing job/ profession, it helps to not allow the customers to see anything but your genile persona.
It was fine and maybe I'm the wrong person for this review but it didn't seem like it was worth the 45 minute wait in line. More of a trendy spot to chill than a place for exceptional coffee...
Great selection of teas (I'm not a coffe person, but others really like their coffee as well), sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. Everything we've has been delicious. If you go, check to see if they have their honey cake available-just trust me on this one, you'll love it!
there is a snotty girl at the counter who does not want to prepare food properly before serving to customers. the cheesecake is literally a block of heavy cream cheese with no flavor, presentation looks appealing though. overrated for the price, quality, and service.
