Lovely environment with a calming atmosphere. Great options of various kava/kratom drinks with live entertainment, a small storefront, and friendly bartenders. I enjoy visiting with my friends for a good time.

I am a regular here. This place has a great atmosphere where everyone is welcome to come as they are. The drinks are amazing and you can always find something new in the store front. There are weekly specials and no one leaves as a stranger. There is a salt sauna that has relieved my allergies and a biomat that aids in pain reduction. Definitely come check this place out if you have been curious about it, you won't regret it!
Such a great and welcoming environment. The owners were super nice and kind and were happy to explain everything, as I am very new to kava. I had an amazing time and will definitely be a regular!
Awesome non alcoholic alternative bar serving Kava and other elixir drinks. Great crowd and atmosphere to chill relax study and work. I like using thier salt cabin, and love to relax on their bio mat.
This place is great. I stop in for a seven hills every time I'm in Rome. The people that work here are very cool, friendly, and informative.

I can’t say enough good things about the Kava Bar. It has become one of my favorite places to go to in Rome, and I devote myself to going even if I struggle to find time in my busy schedule. Sammy and Jim are some of the nicest, most welcoming people I’ve been fortunate to come across and they are open arms to all that visit their business. The drinks are top tier (even though I know next to nothing about Kratom, Kava, etc at other establishments) and the environment is even better. It’s perfect to relax or to enjoy some fellowship and company with the many events and vendors that they host. Most definitely worth a trip for anyone looking to experience something new in the area!
My little family loves this place! We’re here quite often and consider the owners and other regulars like family. My three year old constantly asks if we’re going to the “kava store today” because he loves it too. Few places I’m comfortable in crowds and the Traveling Gypsies and Kava Den is the only one I would be fine with going to every day. Great environment, drinks, and fun.

My colleague and I just stumbled upon this unique establishment while briefly visiting in Rome. What an exceptional find! I've been enjoying kava for quite a few years now, brewing it at home and visiting kava bars across the U.S. and the Pacific Basin. This is certainly one of my favorites! We sat down to warm welcomes from the proprietors and the patrons, and immediately felt right at home. We started out with shells of Fijian kava, smooth and mellow - very reminiscent of what we'd recently enjoyed on Viti Levu. We then switched to a kava from Vanuatu, with a bright, peppery flavor and truly impressive potency. That bore repeating multiple times! Finally, we graduated to some of their delicious flavored kava cocktails. All of that occurred in an exceptionally comfortable, relaxing setting filled with conversations among new friends we met there. I thoroughly recommend Traveling Gypsies! When in Rome, drink like the Romans! It's even worth a special trip to Rome!
First time going here tonight and had an amazing time! Really loved the atmosphere and people at this place, from the staff to the customers. Haven't had this much fun in what feels like ages. As far as the products, it's the first time that I had heard of most of it, but each thing I tried was great and my body/mind feels like it's operating better than normal now. This spot is what I've been needing and can't wait to frequent it as often as I can. Thanks for the warm welcome, Jim.

What a cool surprise to find in Rome! I love this place and the owners are kind and knowledgeable people. Tuesdays are awesome to drop in and try the different wellness rooms/ modalities. I will continue to be a regular customer while I’m in town and would make the 30 min drive just to come here… it’s that cool. Also an awesome place to study, chill, or meet up with friends.
Stumbled upon this gem. We were in town for the imagine music festival and it was our last day. Wonderful welcoming staff Serving up freshly brewed kava and teas. We’d never had kava before so this was Real treat!
