Good country cooking and friendly service
Small town atmosphere, everyone is nice servers are on point and this amaretto pie…lord help! 🤤😋
Great!!! Staff was polite, food was well seasoned, dog friendly, and a perfect place to stop after a day of hiking... look forward to going back
The people here are so very sweet. The marinated chicken was so juicy and tender. They went above and beyond for our dog Arlo. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.
Absolutely delicious. Best chicken tenders I've had in my life! Great service, too!
Quaint little diner with simple good food. Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite on the way to Cloudland Canyon to fuel your adventure.
Had a delicious lunch today. I eat here often and always satisfied with meals. Today was an especially good meal - fried chicken livers, mashed potatoes, green bean, and beets. Hot cornbread rounded out superb meal. My server was Willa who is always delightful & efficient. I asked about the cook and learned a young woman named Tina had cooked the livers. I thanked her for the perfectly prepared livers. Keep it up - wonderful meat and 3. Pat Johnston - Wildwood
Cafe 136 was one of the many places I visited on my way home. This place was very quaint and quiet, although in the kitchen Nickleback was playing. I quite enjoyed the Fried Chicken Salad while my friend got Chicken Strips. In addition I had the Chicken and Dressing with the Amaretto Pie. It was fabulous. Thank you to the lovely staff for the amazing food and experience. This place is one of many to eat at!!
Best fried chicken livers and vegetables I have ever eaten! Home cooking at its best! Wow!
Looks a little sketch on the outside but we saw the menu online and it looked very promising. Delicious! Had hand-battered chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Real ones! Not instant! Excellent fried green tomatoes, as well. Our server was very pleasant and refilled our glasses in good time. :)
We came to Rising Fawn for a two day getaway trip and ended up eating at Cafe 136 both nights. The food and service were top notch and the food quality and preparation were very good. We will have no hesitation stopping here again when we are in the area.
Very friendly staff and good food. If you are staying at Cloudland Canyon, there are not a lot of options nearby, but this one is a great pick to have.
Absolutely will never stop by here again. Do not waste your time. The waitresses were awful, just watched us standing waiting to find a table. They have a whole patio room with tables but it was locked. We stood there for a good 8 minutes and was never helped. Horrible service.
The single worst experience ive had in a restaurant. Was told my food would be ready in 20 mins after it had already been 20 mins since i placed the order. Picked it up 20 mins later & my childs food was upside down and in the plastic bag. All the food was cold & not even good. Way overpriced. Paid 50 bucks for something my 7 year old could have made better. Staff was rude, didnt give me my drinks until i asked, & they didnt give silverware or napkins.
The servers, atmosphere, and food was great. However there is am upcharge if a credit or debit card is used. $40+ for lunch for two is not a fair price for meat and 2 vegetables.
The best cheeseburger I have ever had.
Great place! All waitresses were friendly and helpful. Hand pattied burgers, and the chef salad was well proportioned and huge. Trying the amaretto cake is a must if they have it! Well worth the visit.
Food was excellent. Great veggie options and dining area.
World class burgers?and fries and delightful vegetables plates
Family friendly with good variety of southern favorites. Catfish, chicken livers, and more!!
