Great place with delicious coffee. What really stands out, however, are the wonderful people behind the counter. I had the pleasure of meeting Cass, A’nna, and Anna Kate. Each of them were very kind and overall friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Z Beans Coffee Shop located at Mercer Village, and I must say, it's a cozy haven for coffee lovers seeking a relaxing and productive atmosphere.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming interior of Z Beans Coffee Shop. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful coffee experience. What stood out to me was the ample seating area where a group of around eight people could comfortably gather and engage in conversation. It's an ideal spot for friends or colleagues to catch up or collaborate in a cozy environment.
I opted for a decaffeinated iced Americano during my visit. While the taste was okay, I found it to be refreshing and satisfying, especially on a warm day. The coffee had a balanced flavor profile, and the decaffeinated option allowed me to enjoy a caffeine-free beverage without compromising on taste.
I highly recommend Z Beans Coffee Shop if you're looking for a place to spend quality time while studying or working. The ambiance and comfortable seating make it an excellent choice for those seeking a peaceful environment to focus and be productive. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff further enhance the overall experience, ensuring that your time at the cafe is enjoyable and conducive to getting things done.
In summary, Z Beans Coffee Shop at Mercer Village offers a charming and cozy space for coffee enthusiasts. With its inviting interior and ample seating area for group conversations, it creates a welcoming atmosphere for friends or colleagues to gather. Whether you're seeking a quiet spot to study or a comfortable place to work, this coffee shop provides the ideal setting. Stop by, relax, and enjoy your favorite brew while savoring the serene environment.

I forgot to take a picture before drinking coffee. It's near the Mercer university, so it seems like there are a lot of students coming in and out, and the atmosphere is good. The caramel macchiato was very sweet, so I personally liked it. However, there is a sewer on the side of the entrance, so when entering and exiting, there is a little smell of sewage.

One of the main reasons I come here regularly is because I was able to bring my dog in with me. I will take her on walks and stop in for coffee. I’ve done this probably upwards of 15 times in the past year. All of a sudden she wasn’t allowed in and I can no longer get coffee here unless I go out of my way to walk here without my dog, which honestly never happens. Not sure why there was a change in policy as I’ve even brought her in while one of the owners was in working and there were no issues. Decent coffee, okay prices, it was really the convenience that brought me in here and that convenience is gone.

when i get an especially strong craving for a coffee and also feel the need to walk somewhere, i will go to z beans. when it first opened, the coffee was top notch. now, i feel like the coffee to milk ratio is way off and most of the drinks just end up tasting like steamed milk. since the drinks here aren’t cheap, i wish there was more of a coffee flavor. however, i tried one of the valentines drinks and it was really great. it tasted almost like chocolate covered cherries! overall, i would say it’s a hit or miss depending on who’s working that day.

Disappointing. I much prefer writing glowing reviews and raving about the food or experience, but this one had to happen. I came here for the second time since living in Macon, because my girlfriend really wanted a Matcha or Chai beverage, and I will always choose local over Starbucks. BIG MISTAKE. It's out of the way but seemed like a good idea at the time. We arrived at 3:25p on Saturday, and the area was a ghost town. I figured this was due to everyone getting ready for the Georgia football game, and figured it was our lucky time to go in and grab a coffee. Upon entering, a young woman was sweeping, and was the only one in the building. She didn't greet us, or smile, but I dismissed this. We awkwardly looked around and I asked if she was open. She replied yes. I asked when they closed, and she said 4pm. I said ok, and looked at my gf and was like, "we're almost those people", laughing...but we're not. We try to be self-aware. We figured, we will order our coffee, it's THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES BEFORE CLOSE, during the middle of the day, and then we will hit the road, no big deal. We then proceeded to stand at the counter while the young lady continued doing whatever she wanted for the next few minutes, all without a single look, smile, nod, greeting, or even caring that we were there. You could literally feel the venom coming off her, as if we were the most unlikeable people in here. Without conjecture, I would just say...she didn't like us, or our positive spirit very much. I continued to ignore the situation, remaining positive, and we were finally allowed to order our dirty chai. By the time the young lady asked me what I wanted, in the most uninterested fashion ever, the look of annoyance and misery on her face made me want to just leave. Being an avid coffee drinker, it pained me to just say, "No thanks, I think I'm all set." I didn't get a coffee. I still can't believe I even left her at tip at all, and I think it was still 20%. I can confiden

Coffee isn't great... Like at all. Totally disappointed with all the hype... I ended up taking 3 sips and dumped it in the nearest garbage. Sorry... Not my type of coffee. Even added 2 espresso shots... watered down so much! Like did y'all buy Walmart generic and put your label on it? I, normally, am not this type of poster! Reminded me of that Community Brother's coffee. Not ever again.

I have been a loyal customer of Zbeans for several years now since they opened. They continue to grow, however, they continue to lack efficiency. Last several times I have been at the Mercer Village location, I have waited 15-20 minutes from walking into the door to leaving with items in hand. Drinks are good. Food items are okay. Don’t expect anything fast. Either they need to hire more help or they need to make their processes more efficient. I watched customers walk out when I was there, as well as, 6 people came in behind me in line before I even got my order taken. I waited 10 minutes before my order was taken.

Great place to stop for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The cheese on the biscuit sandwich wasn't melted and it wasn't as hot as it could've been, hence only 4 stars. My husband's croissant sandwich was better. Still a great stop for coffee.

The lady in the front was kinda rude and the coffee drinks just did not have espresso or the flavor of coffee just straight milk.

Great story of farmer to roaster collaboration. Machine burnt the flavor from the cappuccino. Lacked a good foam. Sizes to large. I asked for and received 8-10oz instead of the smallest 12oz selection. Breakfast burrito a microwave disappoint. Nice open atmosphere.

Been to both location. Absolutely terrible every time I have been in. Watched a women in front of me had to come back and ask for her drink because it was forgotten, and they were not busy at the time. Charged the wrong price for cold brew never apologized for the mistake, had to wait for 10 minuets to call the manager about the price. If there was another coffee shop in Macon I’d never come back here.
