I've been coming here since a kid (I think it changed owners in the middle) and I really love them, I know the coffee will be good every time. Great place for outdoor seating by the lake. They got a good variety of healthy and junk foods, plus king of pops which is nice! Friendly and in my opinion one of the best small coffee shops around (even though unfortunately there aren't many in this area). 🖤

Served individuals behind me and my boy's coffee after taking our order. We didn't receive our drinks until the line was cleared. My boys and I waited for a while to receive our orders.

not great. curdled my raspberry white mocha and just not a pleasant experience altogether. (edit): i see that the owner had responded and said that dairy milk sometimes curdles with fruity flavors. why would there be an option for fruity flavors if they “sometimes” curdle the milk? that’s very odd to me. i’m wondering if the employee made the drink in a weird order, making it super acidic or something by putting the milk in with the syrups before the espresso. there shouldn’t be a reason for the milk to “sometimes” curdle with those flavors. if that is the case for this drink at your shop, maybe don’t have it on the menu.

I love this quaint coffeeshop and everything about it. The coffee, pastries, tea, ambience, personal touch to the place, the lake everything! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. It’ll definitely be a comforting and soothing experience.

A very scenic location for a cafe (if you go in the spring). That aside the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, and as a result the coffee tastes great. Definitely coming back!

Lovely local cafe. The view of Lake Lucern is great with a comfortable place to chill, work, or meet up. I highly recommend their hot lavender latte.

This place is a gem. Decor is fun and funky, the lake views are amazing, the baristas were warm and welcoming. Tea selection is awesome. I asked if the hot cocoa was super sweet and they said that they could make the drink light on the sugar -it was delicious. It is so nice to get coffee and have a place to sit and enjoy it without every table being occupied by someone with a laptop on a zoom meeting who doesn't have an inside voice. Will return very soon.

Cafe au lait and a muffin on a cold rainy afternoon hit the spot. Friendly, fast service. Will definitely be back!

Alcove Coffehouse is a great place to get coffee with a view of the water. I went there f today and was sad that there was nothing vegan which is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars, I asked the barista since there was no avocado toast whether there were any other options but she said no. The coffee was great. as was the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and it is a great spot to do some work or meet clients or simply take a break. Overall, I would definitely go back!

I love this coffee shop! Nice environment to work or chat in! My one complaint is that a few of the consumers that come in are so rude to the staff. I respect that the staff kindly enforces the rules to make a great coffee house environment. There are signs that state that there is a one hour limit for window seats. People should respect the hour limit at the windows and not talk back to staff when they kindly ask them to leave or move to another table. People should respect the small business by not bringing in outside food and not talk back when they are told not to bring in food because a health code violation could hurt their small business. But overall most of the people that come and go are considerate and friendly. You should come in and support this small coffee shop! It is a gem! However, if you are rude, please do not come in or maybe you should leave a HUGE tip.

The views were amazing. The coffee shop was cozy, and unique. The workers could have been friendlier, and the coffee in my opinion was bitter. Other than that I enjoyed the view, atmosphere, and lake.
