There were three of us at the restaurant for breakfast. There were ample choices on the menu, but not overwhelming. We were seated quickly. Our server arrived, took orders for beverages, and served us quickly. I had shrimp and grits. We all enjoyed our meals. The music was a tad bit too loud for me.
It was our 1st time visiting the Peachtree Cafe and it was amazing! Our server was great and very friendly. The food was super yummy. The chicken had a crispy golden perfectly seasoned taste and the home fries were cooked just like I cook at home with onions & peppers, they were so delicious. We will definitely be back when we are in town again!!
First timer. There was a wait of 45 minutes to be seated. Not too bad. Good was good. Server was great too.
Walked in and walked out. There was a line of people waiting, in which I was part of, and NO ONE who worked there greeted incoming guests to take their names or tell them the wait time for 5+ minutes. It is a small place so employees could easily see there was a line. Finally the person in front to me went to an IDLE employee behind the barista bar and asked if anyone was going to address the growing line. You know what her non-customer friendly response was?? "Well every one is cleaning tables right now." Wow. Really??? How about "So sorry, I or someone else will be with you shortly?" UNBEIVABLE! I have worked in food service and everyone should be enabled to help a customer, even as something as easy as pinch-hitting as a host/hostess. No just watch as customers are ignored. This is huge FAIL on not only this employee but management in general for this restaurant.
Overall, it was pretty good the gravy and biscuit were not what I was searching for and the coffee either. Everything else was amazing, including the smoothie. food was fresh and fast.
Don't pass this spot without stopping in! Amazing food, service, and the coffee... Oy! So good. Try the chicken and sweet potato waffles. You won't be disappointed.
The service is usually good no matter how busy they are. My fav go to is the sweet potato waffle with cinnamon butter and a cappucino. The last time I went it was not crowded. My waiter, who shall remain nameless because I think he was off his game that day, only had two tables to service (inclUding mine). For some reason it took him 10-15 mins to take our order for drinks, sprite and a latté. The drinks took 20 mins to arrive. The waiter took another 10 mins after the drinks to take our order. I decided to order a cheese steak this time. It took almost 30 mins to receive. When it arrived it had absolutey no seasoning and I could not chew the meat, so I sent it back and ordered the chicken & sweet potato waffle. That took another 20 mins by the time it arrived I did not have time eat because we had been there so long I needed to pick up my child from school. I was so disappointed the last time I went here, I almost hesitate to return. But I believe every one deserves a second chance...I'll keep you posted.
Very pleasant atmosphere, the food is pretty good and our waiter Trey was outstanding! We would definitely eat here again!
Enjoy a delicious breakfast with my wife here!!
First time here . Atmosphere had a great vibe, service and food was on point!
Food was good! Anna, our server was excellent in customer service!
Beautiful gardens! Especially the Japanese gardens. Highly recommended.
I'm not quite sure what people see in this place. First off it's insanely overpriced for the quality and quantity of food you get. I ordered shrimp and grits. I thought I was going to get I nice bowl of big shrimp, sausage, the whole nine you know. I received a small skillet of salty grits a few cut up vegetables with popcorn sized shrimp. I also ordered a single pancake just to taste. Pancake was ok I received land o lakes butter flavored spread to go on my pancake (not real butter). The syrup wasn't even maple syrup. The syrup came in a small metal cup and had a strange film on the top of it like pudding that's been left out too long. This place is a huge rip off. You are pretty much paying to say you are in downtown Lawrenceville. Please spend your money elsewhere where it is worth it.
Seemed a little too busy for the staff since one member of the party I was with waited a very long time to get his food. I arrived well after them and got my food beforehand. Parking is terrible. The chicken and sweet potato waffles was good until I a black spot on the chicken which turned me off.
Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday and it was a really good experience! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was fresh and delicious too. Would definitely recommend and return.
We ordered omelette with home fries(no bacon), USA waffles (Without strawberry syrup for less sweetness ), coffee, and cafe latte. Coffee wasn’t that good, and latte needs to be hotter with more espresso added to it because it was closer to milk. Food was delicious ( not warm enough but other than that it was really good). Great customer service 👍
10/10. Amazing food and great service. Will be back again very soon. If you haven't had breakfast here yet, you are missing out. Trey our server made sure we were well attended through our whole meal and gave us good recommendations. Sofia also makes the best milkshakes/smoothies.
Sorry, I didn’t have time to leave a photo. The food was fresh and delicious. The server was wonderful and she checked on us frequently to make sure we had what we needed and was satisfied. The patio was peaceful even though the restaurant is near a busy street. My only downside was that inside the restaurant was a little cold. Go here, eat and be merry.
Great customer service here. Arrived about 11am we were greeted and seated immediately. The service and food were excellent. I've been to different breakfast/brunch restaurants near my home and this place was the best. Be sure to stop by here. I had the 2 eggs, turkey bacon, it comes with wheat toast and home fries.
We love it!!! A Lawrenceville 💎...Our server Anna was very welcoming and helpful just like everyone!!! Worth the wait
