Get the Dirty Chai!!! You will not regret it. The ambiance and service here are wonderful.
I have been here multiple times. The staff and owner are nice, friendly, down-to-earth, and understanding. The coffee, tea, and pastries are all pretty good. My go-to would be an Iced Matcha with a shot of vanilla and peppermint, along with a brownie or coffee cake. Boulder Creek is a nice, chill hangout spot for a small group of friends or if you need to get away from home and study.
Coffee is great. Service is even better. Becky was the best barista. Really great experience!

Really wanted to try this place. Looks super cute outside. However I sat in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes, left and when to the post office, came out and the same car was in line. Don’t have that kind of time to wait around for coffee. Shame
A coffee shop located in downtown Lawrenceville. I've been in Historic Lawrenceville plenty of times, even was a server at Universal Joint, a burger bar just around the corner. Meet with a coworker over coffee to catch up on life. The place itself is very relaxing. The business is in a historic home preserved & transformed into a neat homie coffee shop. It's a weekday when I came here. Families, kids, and young adults seems to be the majority of the customer. Really interesting place.
While I have previously enjoyed my time at this shop, seeing how the owner replied to a customer who felt discriminated and saying it was "ridiculous" while continuing to invalidate them, make assumptions, and act as though because they are popular that people can't be mistreated is ridiculous and immature in itself. I will no longer be giving my money to an owner who would rather make excuses and patronize someone than apologize for the miscommunication, whether it was a misunderstanding on the customer's part or not. Update: If that is the "true" story, then that's how you could've responded in the review, but it wasn't how you did. Instead, it was deflection at every corner trying to cover yourself, which honestly makes you and your business look even worse if you can't even apologize for the misunderstanding and miscommunication. Do better...
Bit of a long wait for 3 cups of coffee, but a good place to meet up with friends.
Second time here, 1st visit lovely, second time tea was awesome as it was the first time, but the pastries, disappointing, they look so good behind the glass but even warmed up it was super hard, they were very pleasant and offered to exchange it and the second pastry was just as bad, wanted to have a great muffin with my tea and I left with two bad muffins... I really wanted it to be good
I’ve been here three times now, with several good and negative aspects. I’ll start off with the negative to leave the review on a positive note. Every time I’ve been here, I haven’t been greeted and usually the employees are having personal conversations. I definitely understand that spending time with coworkers/friends is a normal part of workdays for many people, but as a customer I’ve felt a bit ignored. I had an almond danish recently, and it was automatically warmed, which I would have not preferred. It still tasted good though. I also had a 12 oz. cold brew with a light splash of half and half. The flavor was okay, I just thought it could’ve been stronger. I’ve come on weekdays around noon when it didn’t seem very busy or crowded, but drinks took 10-20 minutes. Now for the positives. I do love the availability of seating and how clean and neat the interior and exterior are kept. I also like that this property is so close to the parking deck, it makes for easy access. And like I said, the almond danish had a very good flavor. Overall, for the amount you’re paying though, it might not be worth it to come here. I’d love to come back for a danish and try something new, like a latte, but it may not be in my best interest.
The place is nice, the food and coffee are good, but what is impossible to tolerate is the delay in serving you! This morning we went in and to make an avocado toast they told us it would take 30 minutes, unfortunately we had to go to another place, So, don't go to this place unless you have time to waste!!!
Went there with my son for coffee wasn't. Nice quiet place? If you want to. Read or do. Some work in your computer perfect place to go
Looking for somewhere to sit outside for some evening work. Very unique place. Outdoor seating area had some pollen on it but you can tell it gets cleaned regularly. Parking a little confusing I would recommend parking in deck an entrance before the actual shop.
I did not order a drink!! We ordered a brownie and then played chess for a few minute yes! This place has a very cool atmosphere! The service was amazing and the food was great! There is parking close by and it was convenient to lots of shopping
Boulder Creek is so amazing. The coffee was delish, the ambiance amazing, and the customer service was superb. I was served by Kendall and she was so friendly and kind. I will definitely be visiting again.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Lawrenceville!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the coffee is great, and I love coming here to study. Kendall at the counter was especially great!! Definitely recommend!
I really wanted this place to be great. It's in a great location in a beautiful house. I go to coffee houses for the ambiance and hopefully good coffee. I was disappointed because nothing in this place is clean or well kept. It's clear this place hasn't been properly cleaned in months. The dirt in the corners is worse than the dirt in my mud room. The display case was streaked so badly it was hard to see into it. It's clear the used a dirty rug to clean it. Finding a place it sit was a challenge too. The leather chair are in such bad shape the stuffing is busting out the side. The bar stool tops are all cracked. We found a great spot up stairs that wasn't too dirty. The outside, is really just sad. Such a BEAUTIFUL peice of property and the outside sitting area could be amazing. The service was frustrating. Both of the young women helping us were frazzled simply didn't know how half the things worked. I watched a gentleman ask for 3 breakfast items and they told him they were out of them. He left empty handed. This is my third time here. Each time it's this same experience. I try to give a place at least three tries before I judge.
4 out of 5 because it can take a looong time for my order if there is a long line. It’s definitely not the girl’s fault, they work in a very small space and not much can be done about large orders when they’re not equipped with a proper kitchen. That being said I love the coffee here and Kendall and Victoria are amazing baristas! They’re incredibly friendly, quick and they make my complicated drink orders perfectly. When I walk in the shop and see their lovely smiling faces, my day gets brighter and I know that when they’re making my coffee, I don’t have to worry about the quality.
Best coffee shop around the metro Atlanta area!!! Yall have to check it out!!! Avocado toast 10/10 !! Alexa you're amazing!!! Definitely coming back!
