This is pretty much the only place in town to get food coffee. It’s pretty great. They also have specialty drinks like lemonades. The space is pretty unique, too. I wish it was brighter inside, though. Lots of seating. Very relaxing vibe throughout. Staff is also nice and helpful.
Delicious coffee! Great customer service.
Very good place. Very warm barista. Very soft texture foam for my latte.
Bittersweet review but I decided to leave this 5-star review. Safe house was the first espresso I learned to make lattes with. Their beans make great well rounded cups of coffee from my Mochamaster and beautifully expressive espresso shots from my Breville. Me and my mom drank their coffee for years together almost daily. She recently passed and every time I get that sky blue Safe House bag, it reminds me of her. Thank you for the memories and keep roasting! Coffee is bigger than coffee.
Literally pooed myself on the front step and the baristas were so kind that they wiped my butt and fed me like a wounded baby squirrel. love it.
Been to a lot of coffee shops in my life but without a doubt Safehouse is my favorite coffee shop I’ve ever been to. The staff was super friendly and some of the most knowledgeable people I’ve met. I will most definitely make sure I stop in every time I’m in Griffin or nearby. Thank you guys for being amazing!
I’ve been to a few dozen coffee shops around the US, and Safehouse is easily my favorite. The coffee is excellent, there’s almost always enough seating, and the ambiance is great. The staff are always so kind and welcoming. Five stars, a hundred times over.
Great atmosphere and hot drinks. Friendly staff
The employees are super nice and personable. They took my order before they got to the counter to start making it and then rung me up. The coffee was great and it was the perfect volume for hanging out and reading.
So so so good! The chai is amazing, and I can’t resist the giant blueberry muffins. Crew sometimes stops by before a show and picks up peppermint teas for our leads and soloists, and the staff writes their character names on the cups! Y’all are awesome!
Super awesome 2 story coffee shop with outdoor patio. Has been here for several years, now. They've got quite a selection, with most cups being an average of $5. The staff is always respectful and courteous. I've had a lot of good cups of coffee with friends over the years at this little coffee shop. Thank you for the memories!
Awesome. Batista "s Their Service is Great. The Aroma Sells itself.
Quiet, quaint place. Friendly staff and great coffee.
I didn't expect to find such an amazing coffee shop in Griffin! Vintage New York style and great coffee. Really recommend for tourists!
This place was super cool and their fireside tea latte was wonderful! I can't wait to go here again! I hope that they offer more seating as we inch our way out of Covid times.
I think this place is hit or miss. We've been here a few times and have had a single pleasant experience but last couple times were miserable. It took 25 mins to get our coffee this last time we were there. We ordered 2 lattes and there was one person in line before us. The service is terribly slow and the baristas seem miserable. Will not be back unfortunately.
I ordered the wrong drink and they still made me another with no extra charge. Very good coffee, definitely the good stuff (roasted right). They are very kind and have a very large space with some fun art.
The Americola was such an amazing blend of flavors and I enjoyed it more than any other cafe beverage I’ve had in quite some time. Great vibe to this store as well.
Best coffee in the whole city. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing employees. And the owners are awesome people who will gladly share their passion for coffee and their faith with you. This shop is a must visit when you're in Griffin.
