This is the breakfast joint you want to eat at. The staff obviously is a family and they have a system that works! I carved out some extra time because I figured they would be slammed on a Saturday morning (they were). But my food was fast, service was friendly, and breakfast was affordable! I’ve never put mayo on a bacon egg and cheese Sammy but I will from now on:) Thanks for getting my day going in proper form!
Great coffee and Sandwich place. Had a normal black coffee that was strong and actually taste as good coffee, and the California club sandwich was just delicious. Nice outdoor seating as well.
This is a small cafe located in a strip mall kind of place. Food: Honestly the food was good. Their selection of pastries and drinks is extensive, dam well delicious. 🤤 Service: A bunch of fun, friendly and bubbly staff that makes you want to smile while you are there. I definitely would go back here.

My favorite lunch spot when I’m working at Lake Oconee! Great wraps and soup! They also have fantastic coffee! Definitely recommend them to all of my real estate clients when they move to the area!
Update: one of our favorite places for breakfast or lunch. Not expansive, but a nice selection of items. Food is ordered from the counter and bought out to you. Food is prepared well and quickly. We had a ham and cheese omelette with the greatest cheese grits of all times. My wife had a huge bacon, egg cheese croissant. Service was friendly and efficient. 2022 update: We have had lunch here many times and all visits have been great. During the pandemic bee picked up lunch , but today we went in. I had my favorite Cuban and my wife had chicken salad with greens. We also picked up some holiday coffee beans that caught our eye. Hours are 7am to 4pm, so this is a breakfast, lunch and afternoon meal spot. Located in a strip plaza, parking is always just a short walk away. 2019. Great lunch spot as well as a coffee/pastry shop. Lunch sandwiches and soups are great. I recommend the Cuban. Service is exceptional and value is very good. 2019 Update: They also serve a nice breakfast but don’t be late for the cut off time. I missed it by s few minutes and I ended up with s lunch sandwich. Still a favorite spot of ours.
Always fabulous!! Order takeout for lunch at least once a week. Always fresh and tasty.
Best breakfast and lunch on the lake by far
This was our first time visiting Cafe 44 and we really liked it. You order from the counter and then they bring your food out to your table instead of typical wait staff taking your order. The food was delicious. We had the California club sandwich and the Denver burger. Both were very tasty and good portions.
