We had a surprise, "80th" birthday party for a dear friend. Dixie and the girls went over and beyond to make it an AWESOME party. LOVE THIS PLACE.

If you find yourself in Folkston to watch trains, go swamping, or just passing through, stop here if you want hospitality (in all capital letters). We were one of those tourist couples that saw the great reviews and needed a bite to eat but failed to see on the door that Dixie was serving 3 days a week. Well that didn’t stop us illiterate Northerners and in we walked that Saturday afternoon when she wasn't serving. Dixie was incredibly gracious and after chatting us up she prepared an impressive and delicious set of chicken salad sandwiches and pimento cheese apps on the side. Triple filled my sweet tea. Holy cow. We didn’t feel so bad when another equally illiterate couple came in behind us and got the similar treatment. Check the place out, ideally when the sign says they’re serving food. They are the nicest. (Next time I come back I’m bringing checked luggage so I can stock up on the tasty-looking spreads and honeys but there’s a ton of other stuff in that delightfully eclectic store.)

This place is Really Adorable!! Very nice folks definitely make you feel welcomed, and trust me todays outfit I stick out like a sore thumb, and they were super nice to me. They have cute things about the towns history and the railroad/trains it is a train town after all. GREAT FAIR prices on the food that taste great by the way!!! Plus they are not wasteful folks. Even the take out box is great quality and sturdy and eco friendly!! Stop on by or give them a call they have specials!!!

Delicious food and they really do have the best coffee! Note that they are closed on Sundays.

Great coffee! Special was Cordon Bleu wrap with a half Engineer salad, and a savory chicken salad on a fresh croissant. The tomatoes were a prize in and of themselves! Lovely conversation with owner since we were there nearly at 2 p.m. Chocolate chunk cookies for the road. We look for local spots on our travels and this one was a winner!

First time eating here was today , sandwich was really good , didnt think much of the lemonade, and topped it off with a scoop of ice cream. A little pricey but all in all , I enjoyed it

We stopped in for some ice cream mid-afternoon and what a great place. The owner was so friendly and interesting to talk with. We also got a couple of little whatnots. If you haven't been there I highly recommend you do.

STAY AWAY, huge tourist trap and out of towners beware! High prices for cheap items. The food is not worth the prices, I'd rather eat at McDonalds or That Thai Restaurant down the street. The owner was very rude and reeked of alcohol. Again, STAY AWAY.

Excellent lunch menus featuring savory homemade soups & desserts , well constructed sandwiches, and local dishes. Bluebell ice cream and lots of swamp & railroad souvenirs to take home.
