Sweet place! And and even sweeter owner there!! She was incredibly kind to my large family throughout our entire visit! The coffees were delicious I just would’ve wanted more flavor options I think. But that’s just me. Overall wonderful place and wonderful experience!
Delicious!!
We did a group trip to Elijay last weekend, and we ended up going to Das Kaffee Haus twice because we loved it! The staff is so warm and friendly, and managed to get 12 drink orders completely correct. I had the hot mocha the first time and a mocha frappe the second, and both were delicious! They also have a decent selection of pastries as well, though I didn't try that. We were very glad to have found this great coffee shop on our trip!
Very clean and tourist quaint.
Simple the best.
Lots of non-dairy vegan milk and creamer options, soy, oat, etc
Stopped by on our way out to get some coffee. we always try to stop and support any local coffee shop than driving to a Starbucks. This place is super cute. I love the window seats. Staff is sincerely nice. Coffee was really good. Super cute menu. Thank you!
Incredible selections and amazing flavor. Definitely a jumpstart to the day with great atmosphere
Popped in here after lunch at Cantaberry's and was greeted by reasonably priced but absolutely delicious specialty drinks. Also great for tea and hot chocolate lovers, as they had a lot of kinds! Staff was also extremely friendly and made us feel like regulars even though this was our first experience. Highly recommend!
Rotating house made pastries/bites, great people, and a fine cappuccino. Probably the prettiest quiches I've ever seen. Easy to recommend for a pickup when walking around town.
Great coffee!
You can count on Kindness at Das Kaffee Haus Have you met Arnette?! I recommend anything she baked because it will make your day! The vibe is come in, get ur coffee/pastry, and get on with it - not a WiFi work remotely type spot Local favorite for sure
Between the 2 locations, I have been to this business 6 times. 1 time it was open, right before closing so It was too late for a drink, but I saw it was open, so I had to go in! The food was good. These other 5 times were not late at night either. 8a, 11a, 3p.. So you understand... a coffee shop, especially when kaffee is the name, has certain expectations. It's not like a bakery or a Deli. People rely on coffee. And for you to be so, careless with that responsibility .. its why Starbucks is Starbucks. Folks, keep on going around the corner to Ellijay Coffeehouse. They've never let me down. It's 2023. You have a Facebook page. Post updates to your schedule there!
Coffee is so good. Just had their reg. Brew, but there are many many choices for expresso and fancy drinks, great variety of quality teas. They also have packaged tea and coffee and other items for sale. Many choices of in-house fresh foods to go with your drinks. Scones, Danish, quiche and more. Good place to sit and enjoy.
You owe it to yourself to get to this lovely bakery/coffee house. Each day is a little something different but I recommend the bagels without a doubt. Coffee is fantastic. If you don’t drink coffee, they have several hot teas, cider, and hot chocolate. The owners are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Had the Campfire S'more latte. Very delicious, and friendly service.
“Coffee served with a scowl” Came in at 4:55 and the employees were blatantly perturbed for a customer to walk in the door during business hours. Seeing the scowls and sensing the hostility, I asked if it was ok to still order coffee, and they begrudgingly complied. Coffee itself was delicious. Some other couple tried to walk in as we were leaving at 4:58 and the employees had locked the door at that point. If you want to close at 4:45 or 4:30, why not post that as your hours instead of making your customers – who by the way are the reason you are employed – feel like a nuisance. Jerks!
One of my favorite coffee shops in Ga. If you go in the winter try the campfire s'more latte and in the summertime try the Black Forest. This location opened this past May 2022. They have another location in downtown Blue Ridge close to the blue ridge mountain railway.
Delicious food and coffee, steaming hot cocoa drinks and lots of Christmas cheer. We sat at the window booth and it was nice watching Ellijay’s Square light up the tree festival. The cutest, most quaint and delectable small town in America; if you’ve never been, put it on your bucket list and don’t miss this little cafe, you’ll Luv it!
Cool little coffee shop with good espresso and great seating for people watching
