Hate that it took me forever to give this place a try, been living in this area for over a decade and I used to see this coffeehouse everyday on my route for work. Finally I did try them out and BRUH their coffee and their fresh biscuits with jam & butter is AMAZINGGG🤤
This place used to be great. Until recently, they had a number of great items and pastries. They say their pastry contact moved to another city. I would get them back I were Banjos. Huge difference in the offerings. But there's a new cashier there, and her attitude is less than desirable. For the first time sing going there, our coffee was cold. Just a whole different atmosphere.
I wasn't able to try the food because the kitchen closed at 1 the Sunday I came. I did get a yummy vanilla bourbon latte (you had me at bourbon) and berry loaf. The loaf was really fresh. Theres a nice pet friendly sitting area on the side to chill with your coffee. The Black Lives Matter Sign rocks! Awesome!!
Just lovely place to sit and have a cup of tea
Great place for coffee and food. Outside is very Dog friendly. This will be our place after a Saturday market visit.
Decent coffee not great food. Way overpriced and limited sugar free options.
I realized that I never reviewed our household’s most frequently visited establishment! We LOVE Banjo! It is the best coffee shop to have in your community. Super friendly staff, delicious coffee, and great breakfast items (highly recommend the avocado bagel). We basically can’t get through a week without visiting Banjo at least once or twice!
Walked over from the Avondale Farmers Market on a Sunday morning. I had no expectations other than a simple cup of coffee but was blown away. This place is so stinking cute, the staff is super pleasant, and the menu is sizable for a quaint shop. The coffee cocktails are amazing if you have time to sip and linger. Try the chai hot toddy with a shot of espresso and prepare to be wowed.
Cute coffee shop with nice outdoor patio. The coffee was good. However it was $6.50 for a large latte that wasn't that large, and was 1/4th ice. I had the iced bourbon vanilla latte, just wish it had been a bit larger for the price. I had a blueberry muffin that had a grainy texture that I wasn't a fan of, but it was edible. Coffee shop not wheelchair accessible. It has about 5 steps of stairs to enter.
The times I've been here for a cup of coffee, it has always been A++. Lots of choices in town for a cup of your favorite potion. Don't skip on Banjo. Pull up.
Always a pleasant vibe here. Even when there's a line and everyone is busy. I love the bourbon vanilla in my coffee. 😋 The zucchini bread is good too. Scoop up a slice of you see it. Great way to start the day!
GREAT little coffee shop, with hear character and excellent coffee! I loved the dirty iced chai with oat milk, and the green curry wrap!! 💚
Love this place! After moving near the area, I've really enjoyed this neighborhood coffee joint. I've been loving their breakfast burritos as well. They recently changed their recipe and no longer include pico, so it's not as good anymore which is a bummer but the coffee is always on point 👌🏽 #pleasebringpicoback
This is by far one of the friendliest coffee shops in town. The staff are courteous and kind. Plus, their outdoor seating is set among trees, giving it a tranquil and shady feeling. Plus, their coffee is delicious! Highly recommended!
Not pet friendly! Google and Apple says dogs welcome but I went yesterday while on a walk, with plans to grab for a cold drink and head to the park with my dog and was informed they are not pet friendly. It was a bummer to have to order from outside, but the blue latte was good. I’ll go back, just wish there was a coffee shop close by I could pop into during walks with my dog
Not doing pour over if you’re into that. Focused on the Starbucks crowd and the espresso I took away was much better than what I got from Delta. Very friendly staff and a nice selection of freshly roasted bagged beans that I’m eager to try out at home. Found by searching “pour over” and “specialty coffee” and was disappointed. Try somewhere else if you’re not into lattes or dark roast drip coffee.
Good coffee, but a small interior space. You might not be able to find a place to sit if it’s busy.
So much good energy in this place. Best food of any coffee shop I've experienced. The coffee is roasted intown so you know they serve a superior cup.
Cool staff. Great atmosphere. Excellent coffee and pastries. I'll go out of my way for their coffee. ☕
Portion or amount (pastry & cappuccino) are not big enough for the high prices they charge.
