Nice open seating, bright natural light, energetic atmosphere. Very pleasant. I got the breakfast pita - good but not fantastic. I want to try the burrito next time. My friend got the avo toast and liked it. Parking is easy - free lot right outside. Not my go-to spot, but will be back to try more!
Just went for the first time today. It's a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. I had an Espresso machiatto and it was perfectly nutty and strong with a little milk foam smiley face. I also tried the matcha banana bread and it was just okay for me. It was a but too heavy on the matcha as I find many matcha pastries to be. But overall, it is decent if you tend towards those kinds of breads.
The owner turns off the wifi on the weekends. I wouldn’t have bought food and drinks here if I knew there wasn’t any wifi.
I loved everything about this coffee shot. The latte was exceptional. Great food options. Plenty of seating. All inclusive (kid-friendly) atmosphere.
In 2019, my husband and I went on a weekend trip to Charleston and stopped into The Daily for brunch. We were absolutely blown away and so sad we lived far away from this incredible establishment. Fast forward to 2022 as we’re driving around our city of Atlanta and see a sign for The Daily with the same logo. We immediately googled and saw that a location opened in Atlanta and truly could not have been happier. We have never been let down at this place - the whipped feta toast, breakfast burrito and loaded avocado bowl are all fantastic and full of flavor. Their house made syrups are *chef’s kiss*, and the atmosphere in general is 10/10. Also, I have to shout out one of the wonderful workers there, Destiny, who is honestly one of the kindest and most intentional people I’ve ever met. She not only provides exceptional service, but always remembers little details about our lives. Not to be dramatic but I want her to have everything in life that she dreams of ha. I cannot say enough good things about The Daily.
Spacious environment that’s good for working. The fruit & yogurt bowl has really creamy delicious yogurt base, and bits of strawberry, granola, chia seeds, and honey drizzled on top. There’s a hint of honey and mint flavor, which goes well with the creamy yogurt flavor.
Service could be improved, when asked waiter if we need to pick up our dishes after we ate, he barely raised his eyes from the phone to me and pointed to a bucket, my "thank you" was ignored too. The food is delicious and made with quality ingredients.
First time here and loved it! Love the vibe and atmosphere. Did not start too long as I was doing takeout. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the small marketplace near the ordering counter and will be back to ship those items. I ordered the Israeli Upside Down Latte and it tasted as good as it looked! I also tried the breakfast burrito which was delicious. The wrap was surprisingly light and best of all: not messy! I will definitely be back!
Good food especially the pita! Very cool atmosphere and quick food
Unwelcoming staff, mediocre food, poor acoustics. We arrived about ~15 minutes before closing, and when we got to the counter the man at the register yelled to the line that they were closing in a few minutes. I asked what that meant, if we couldn’t order, and he just asked if we wanted dine-in or carry out. He was clearly making the point to tell us we needed to eat fast, which was just a rude way to start the visit. If you want to make sure your spot closes at a specific time then create a dine-in cutoff time rather than yelling at people before they’ve even ordered and still allowing dine-in. Food then took almost 20 minutes to come out, one toast and an egg wrap. So they served us after they were closed, and it wasn’t even busy there. The entire time we were waiting for our food there were people cleaning the restaurant for closing, it smelled like cleaning solution and sounded like scraping chairs all over. The place has no sound dampening so it’s really loud in there. I understand you don’t want to hang around all day after closing, but these aren’t tip-waged staff, they are paid hourly to close, so it was just intense how heavily they were cleaning while there were still probably ~8 people eating before actual closing time. It made an already unwelcoming staff vibe even worse. I wish they’d just told us we needed to do carry out. Food was okay. My friend liked their egg wrap, although the fillings were only at the bottom, he had to eat 80% just eggs before reaching the other fillings at the bottom of the pita pocket. My salmon and dill toast was not good, it came out with the spread super messy spilling down the side and back of the toast and plate, like a kid had plated it. A single thin piece of salmon across the top, there was so little salmon you couldn’t taste it over the spread. It was poorly presented, terrible portion size, and taste was mediocre. Had high hopes for this place, super cute online, but vibe + food were lacking. Drip coffee was good
Favorite for breakfast/lunch.
The food alone is some of the best I've had from any cafe. I'm in love with the breakfast sandwich. I'm only knocking off a star because the coffee is either hit or miss but it's not their fault I don't like blond expresso. The upsidedown Israeli latte pairs well with the expresso and is very well balanced. It's the first time I've had rose in a drink that didn't taste like soap. I would recombed the iced version over the hot though. TLDR: when it's good it's really frickin good.
Such a cute vibe and friendly staff. $8 for a chai latte feels a bit crazy but I was planning to stay and work for a bit so it’s really fair actually. Plus it was super tasty. Lots of space and they have courtesy signs on the table so people don’t take an 8 top for 1 person. I would definitely visit again! Parking is easy as well I parked behind the building.
As you enter this coffee shop, the long line will let you know how well loved this coffee/breakfast place is. The decor of this coffee shop is modern and chic. The long line moves quickly; they take your order and serve the food at your table. The tables at the restaurant are mostly occupied, but the servers are courteous and they help you secure a seat. The menu at the restaurant is filled with options of fresh and healthy foods. We ordered two cups of cappuccino and the coffee was smooth and strong. For food, we ordered Breakfast Burrito which was stuffed with scrambled eggs and home fries and Hummus Bowl with lamb. Both the dishes were enjoyable and refreshing. The cost of the food is moderate and the portion is enough for one person. We also ordered a cold Cannoli Latte, which was different and had cannoli cream on top and a strong sweet coffee at the bottom. Since this place is popular, it will take you some time to find a parking spot. They have parking in front of the restaurant and also on the side of the building. Overall, The Daily is a great spot for a quick and satisfying breakfast or coffee. We will be back for more! Edit: Photos added from subsequent visits.
Best breakfast burrito!
A perfect breakfast/coffee combo. Great options for gluten free and vegan needs. Good customer service and fast turn around on orders. Popped in while staying in Atlanta and will have to come back next time I’m there.
Highly recommend this place. I really enjoyed working here and everything is super clean. I really loved the smoked salmon. Was delicious! Every staff member looks hard working. The design of this place is phenomenal. I came at 12pm and stayed two hours. Seats do fill out fast so I sat by the bar. Would definitely come back!!
Went in to work from home publicly today lol . Unfortunately if you aren’t seated at a wall there’s no place to plug in. So we had a short visit. Chai tea oat milk latte was very strong, not necessarily to my liking but not a bad cup of chai. Even bought a little daily move mug. Will be back to try again. Merchandise is very cute. Will try again.
The people were friendly, the matcha was mad tasty 😋, the avo toast (without egg) was flavorful. I heard the coffee and pastry were lackluster and have to deduct ⭐ for the small portion, lack of outlets, and poor wifi ☹️ Oh, and some of the drinks pictured in reviews are not available. We really came to try a purple drink and the green chia from the pics. I was informed that those were limited edition beverages.
Love this coffee shop! A great place to work, as long as you are willing to use communal tables. Very bright and happy atmosphere and excellent food. Fun specialty coffees. Definitely worth visiting!
