Sleek little stop to get caffeinated in the Midtown area with a great mission/social purpose. They had bags of beans that were branded with their own stuff but not sure if they do their own roasting. I was most looking forward to trying some beans roasted by Portrait Coffee, which was available in the form of the Toni roast on espresso. Sadly the shot by itself was unremarkable for acidity/sweetness and a little ashy on the finish, but it worked ok as the base for flavored drinks like the iced caramel macchiato. They were extremely busy, so not sure if that's always the case, but overall not a must-stop destination for the coffee alone. Cinnamon twist had promise, we came late in the day so probably much better when fresh/warm. Solid enough choice if you need a decent caffeinated beverage in the area.

Might be the worst ice americano I ever had. Only bitterness and nothing else. The kind of bitterness that’s like burned coffee beans and not just black coffee bitter. My apartment lobby’s coffee machine is better than this…

Free 15 min parking at High Art Museum. This is a very sweet non-profit coffee shop. The seating is perfect. They have indoor, outdoor, bar, and booth seating. It would be fantastic for meeting up with a friend or co-worker. This place could not get any better!!
