So happy that my family and I stopped by Southern Donut after getting lunch nextdoor. All of the donut flavors that we selected were delicious! And especially glad I got to try the last remaining creme brulee donut. Super yummy! Highly recommend you get there earlier in the day to get the most selection before they sell out. Looking forward to returning to try their breakfast!
Donuts were good but a little dry. Breakfast was good. I was a little disappointed with how many staff members were working but our food sat in the window for over 5 minutes.
By far the best breakfast place near us in Fernandina beach FL. Good portions, fresh ingredients, easy in n out, nice people! Our new quick go to place
Our go to Breakfast stop
This place has breakfast that is better than all of those on island diners. Real corn beef hash, full fluffy omelets, a great breakfast bowl and the list goes on. Amazing choice of donuts too.
Very busy great service and good donuts
Pricey, ordered my eggs hard fried, yolk broken receive runny yolk. Hashbrowns had zero taste almost like they were dehydrated and the toast was dry.
Great Doughnuts
The only thing halfway good about this restaurant was their breakfast burrito. Cashier was not friendly at all. She did not place order correctly. Waited over 30 minutes only to be told the order was not put in. Wound up leaving. You are better off at getting donuts at Dunkin.
We had the 3 different benedicts, and all were good! The kids French toast was also delicious.the chai tea lattes were fantastic.
Breakfast burritos with sausage is a great one to start with. The French Vanilla extra hot latte is good
For a place with donut in the name they make terrible doughnuts, dry and just sad and way over priced. The woman who was serving us clearly didn't want to be there, and it seemed it was an inconvenience that we were there, maybe she rather be out back smoking, sure sounded like it. But, the Cajun benedict was amazing, I would be back just for that. My friend had the French toast, it was a little oily like the oil either wasn't warm enough or too old. Either way is terrible. Prolly won't be back...
The doughnuts are chewy they're small food has no taste for seasoning and the prices for the food is ridiculously high I will go to Southern blend donuts before I ever go back to this place the staff upfront definitely had a bad attitude they had frowns on their faces when the people in the restaurant ask him to do something they rolled her eyes and get all mad and the waitresses in the restaurant will not attentive to the customers and the food was not coming out quick enough and people were getting up to leave so no will not go back.
Went by in the afternoon to pick up some donuts. Not much of a selection but I understand since it was in the afternoon. The donuts that I was able to buy were good. I will have to try early one day when there is more of a selection
Expensive
We ate breakfast for the first time yesterday and it was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend you check them out.
I just finished the best bagel sandwich EVER! Bacon Lettuce Green Fried Tomato on a EVERYTHING BAGEL!!! OMG this place should get the national award for best bagel sandwich! From the donuts to the coffee the menu is chock full of epicurean wonders. If you cannot get in to a table there is a reason for that.....the place is phenomenal!
Good donuts
The doughnuts are better than any franchise and better priced but it doesn't stop there. The food is exceptional. Before I had the biscuits and gravy here I would have sent you to Maple street. This biscuit was by far the best biscuit you'll find hands down, paired with a well made and flavorful gravy. I'll definitely be back, shrimp and grits are next.
Food is pretty good but, priced high for the service. Had to wait at the counter 2 out of 3 visits and tables have been dirty every time. Could be a five with some staffing fixes.
