I came here for the first time today, and I loved it so much. The coffee is delicious, and I was craving avocado toast . Let me just say craving fulfilled! It's definitely a cute little area to eat breakfast or brunch with friends or even on a solo date. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place if you wanna try a cute little coffee place. 🤍
Sat outside for at least 20 min waiting for a server to come by, no one ever did. It wasn't very busy and I could see at least 3 servers behind the counter. Left and went to Starbucks instead. Too bad, I would have rather ordered here
Recently remodeled Barnie’s was a good experience on a Saturday morning. We ordered the breakfast burrito and it was delicious!! The photo shows one half of the burrito. Capuccino was pretty good as well! Food gets 5 stars. Seating/ordering was slightly confusing at first… seats are first come first serve and I guess you can just take a seat.. then eventually catch the eye of a server. If you order up at the counter, it’s to go by default.
I wanted to give a shoutout to the Barnie's staff because they are absolutely great. This was my first time here and everyone was super friendly, welcoming with some of the best smiles! The coffee was delicious and the quiche was bomb! Special shoutout to the queen that helped me charge my computer for work ( starbies cup collector girly) and shoutout to Linsey for being super sweet and personable. She recommended some great options that I will definitely be back for! Thank you for the amazing experience and I cannot wait to come back! Best coffee shop experienced Ive had in a minute! Keep up the amazing work!
Inconsistent. Had two nice breakfasts, but yesterday was a flop. Was told by an employee that I can grab a table outside and someone will be with me. I only had 1 hour for lunch, had ann appointment. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, ended up ordering take out (grilled cheese) at the counter inside. Waited another 10 minutes inside. Saw an order placed on the counter. Two young women behind the counter, both on their phones, never acknowledged that the order was ready, never called it. I went to the counter and asked if it was mine. Without checking, one of the women said “sure” and moved it towards me. Fortunately, it was mine. And in case you wonder, it was not busy, several empty tables, I saw plenty of servers inside. No reason for anyone not to see me for 20 minutes or not to see that the order was ready. I am on Park av often, but not my lunch option in the future. Grilled cheese was fine, so added one star for that.
Great coffee. Customer service is also great. See Austin if you need a Excellent service.
I had a great meal and drinks in this very beautiful place on my first week in Florida, service was impeccable, food was great and Jasmine (truly a star) that helped me with my selections was simply amazing, thank you for the very warm welcome filled with smiles and for the wonderful experience Jasmine, looking forward to returning as your guest soon! .
Fantastic lunch here! We had a chicken Caesar wrap, a caprese sandwich, and a turkey avocado bacon sandwich. Delicious! Service was prompt and polite, delivery of food was quick. Latte was excellent. Highly recommend. Breakfast menu looks great and we look forward to trying it!
All Orlando Airport restaurant and shops have discount for Military and veterans. This new establishment does not support military or veterans personnel!
Came in for a coffee and pastry. Stayed and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
More of great little restaurant than just a little coffee shop but picturesque location…feels like you’re in Paris and perfect for people watching (especially on a bright beautiful Saturday with a massive collection of Art exhibits and hundreds of people …bonus lots of dog walkers too)
Appalled at the service at this establishment which frankly has always been poor and now has reached a new low when the manager escorted 2 Rollins students out for sitting at a table after ordering (and tipping ) at the cashier because they now force you to wait for a server at the table or you can't stay there. The students unknowingly ordered to go -missing the sign and unaware of the recent change - which anyone would also make that mistake. And the only notice you have of this is a small sign on the door. This is completely unacceptable to treat any customer this way. With the various other options available this is one coffee bar I will certainly not be returning to. They have lost 3 local customers and I am sure will lose more. That manager should be ashamed and embarrassed. They have a nice location and am sure they spent a lot to remodel. But their service has always been slow and mediocre at best and now has gotten unimaginably worse.
A friend and I visited Barnie's this morning to meet for breakfast, an establishment we have both been paying customers at many times. My past experiences at Barnie's have been fine, nothing about average, as the service can be quite slow with their "seat yourself" policy, which just means sit down and we'll get to you in however long it takes for a server to notice you. So we went and ordered at the counter and then sat at a table and our coffees were brought to us in paper cups, which we thought odd since everyone else's were in glass mugs. About 10 minutes go by until a server comes to our table and asks us to leave since we ordered to go and were taking up a table. We explained to her that we were not aware that we ordered to go, and then were told by her that if we ordered at the counter then we ordered to go, and that her main point was that we had to leave because we would not be tipping a server. We then told her that we did in fact tip at the counter, even when we were not aware that we were ordering to go. Even the man at the table next to us thought it was ridiculous as we just didn't know any better and were never told that ordering at the counter means ordering to go. She went and got her manager, and then he came over and told us, paying and tipping customers, that we had to leave because we unknowingly ordered to go and were taking up a table from the people waiting. He told us we should have known that we ordered to go because supposedly it says so on the front door. He then escorted us out, causing a scene, and sending us to the sidewalk where it was a 50 degree morning in WP. I'm not sure if this is new management, with the recent renovation and all, but they lost customers of 10 years today.
Walked in to order and there was a very strong foul milk smell. We didn’t order.
a very acidic cappuccino from over expressing the coffee beans. the Huevos Rancheros salsa was fermenting and left an unpleasant taste as iwell... over all not good.
My husband had the French toast which wasn’t fresh. It was dry and reheated. I had the huevos rancheros and my tortillas were dry/hard and reheated. Both meals felt like they were reheated in the microwave causing them to be hard and unpalatable. I was expecting more from a Park Ave restaurant :(
Fantastic coffee, delicious pastries. Only downside is that it's so good it's always busy!
They just renovated and it’s cute inside. I love the area it’s definitely a cute spot for a little brunch and coffee. I ordered a salmon and bagel and an iced doppio. The food was good the coffee had me wired! The popover was good but it just wasn’t fresh. Our server Nick was definitely a reason to go back to this location. If I had family from out of town visiting or wanted to grab a coffee and read my book I would go here.
Great ☕, super friendly and welcoming atmosphere,.. then the food came, breakfast sandwich was delicious and fresh!
Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Staff is friend and best service.
