Coffee is insanely well done and the food is tasty as hell. If it's not a million degrees outside, it's is among the best places in Ft Lauderdale to grab a coffee and hang outside.

Have been hearing about The Alchemist for some time and decided to finally give it a try and I'm really glad that I did. To start with, they offer a really expansive menu for breakfast/brunch so no matter your preferences, you'll definitely be left satisfied. When it comes to my recommendations, I'd definitely suggest ordering the Smoked Salmon & Caprese open-faced sandwiches. In terms of their beverage selection, I'd definitely like if they had some more unique options, but you really can't go wrong with their Iced Coffee. Really looking forward to coming back and trying more things off of the menu. I also liked that there is ample parking, tons of outdoor seating, and it's extremely pet friendly. This spot is an absolute vibe and I'd highly recommend you check it out.

The worst “chicken” and waffles that I ever had. The advertising related to the chicken and waffles is different from that you get.

I love this place and never mind waiting for good food… however the coffee came out beautiful but I ordered everything to go. I told the server I’d take it anyways not to remake. I sat and drank my coffee. The waffle came then for here. I told them everything was to go again. They seemed really confused. I’ve eaten in here but this was my first take out. I was ordering for myself and another person. I was waiting on another item. I transferred my coffee into a to go cup and went to the counter to wait. I wanted to be sure the last item was to go. It came out on a plate and I asked them to wrap it before they took a new order. Everyone got annoyed and the woman in the kitchen yelled and embarrassed me in front of the whole house like I was her employee. I don’t pay these prices and wait 20 mins for food to go to be yelled at by a server. This is unacceptable as I didn’t make error they did. I was then treated badly after their error and a 20 min wait. I don’t know what I did wrong?

Super cute spot for a cup of coffee with a small brunch…! Came here on recommendation for “top places to eat in Ft Lauderdale”. Friendly service, good food and comfortable atmosphere. They have little sandwiches as well as individual sized pizzas. A lush garden out front makes it a standout from the rest.

Loved this space! It felt like a place for locals that also adores visitors & tourists. The space was lovely to catch a break from the sweltering heat. From the cute spaces to sit to the coffee to the art at the far end of the area… it was just wonderful.

It’s a cafe with a very nice ambience. However, the staff is extremely incompetent. They almost always mess up the order or even simply forget even to make it after taking the payment. I have a feeling that employees are under influence of some kind or have a severe lack of sleep.

Fantastic place. A must-visit. Menu is amazing. The Alchemist Iced Coffee is their signature item, and it doesn’t disappoint. Atmosphere is eclectic and relaxed. Staff is extremely welcoming, and there are residents cats that walk around the outdoor dining gardens. If you’re in the area, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

Decent cafe with a reasonable price and a wise array of choices to choose from, especially for vegetarian. The service here is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. This cafe is a bit out of the way from the main shopping area, so it’s a bit of a drive. Although this place id perfectly alright, I’d not recommend going out of your way to try this here.

A quaint and quirky coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The crowd is a mixture of all ages. This is a great place for brunch! You can spend your time here and enjoy the scene. The food was tasty and made well. A little on the higher price end for the portion size. If you have dietary restrictions such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, there are several options available; including customizing your order.

This laid back coffee and brunch spot has a tasty, comfort food inspired menu. Highly recommended for a late lunch on a weekday, when you'll see the laptop crowd. The outdoor space is well designed and relaxing. 🐦

A literal tucked away, unsuspecting brunch oasis, The Alchemist Cafe is by far one of my favorite experiences. The chill eclectic vibes, the attention to details (ice coffee cubes), the flavor profiles of everything on the menu (the focaccias, any of them, are my favorite by far), the awesome staff and so much more all make this spot a must try! Don’t forget to grab a cookie to go and be prepared to make plans to come back.
