I got a cup of coffee there. It was fast and very good. I'm certain to go back to explore more of what they offer

First and only visit. Stopped in for a late lunch a few weeks ago. The menu looked promising. Fellow behind the bar snarky and not helpful when asked questions. Ordered food at the counter, then waited at a table. Short wait. My friend ordered a banh mi sandwich and I ordered the Cuban. The banh mi sandwich was missing pate. The Cuban was fair. Nothing wrong with it, but not very flavorful. Iced tea was good. I didn’t address the missing pate with the man at the counter. I didn’t feel like getting into another sarcastic conversation.

Love the 1420! The pear walnut Kuchen is as good as pastry gets: gooey and delicious inside with a great crust around the upper edge. We always get the almond croissant. If you think you have a better one let us know and we'll try it! Until then, it's the 1420.

Favorite coffee place in Vero. Very relaxing, love the music in the background makes the atmosphere perfect. They owner is really nice, the staff are very nice too. The food is amazing. My favorite is the turkey croissant and a white chocolate mocha, and for sweets, their quesito is delicious 😋 is my favorite coffee place in Vero. I would definitely recommend them.

I moved to Vero about 2 years ago. When I first discovered this place, I was super happy. Looking for good coffee in this small town is not easy. There are hardly any places where I approve of their coffee. This coffee shop was the perfect little place for me to have a good quality cup of coffee and also spend a quiet moment enjoying my café. At first I started going about 2/3 times per week. I have been a regular for about 2yrs now. Lately I have been going less and less because the service has definitely changed. If I go in the mornings, I barely get a "Good Morning", from the staff. Their faces in the morning are not happy faces, they clearly don't want to be there. If I go in the afternoons, the crew is much friendlier. I get a much better energy vibe in this place in the afternoons. I am not sure what has happened since I first started going, but the energy there has certainly shifted to a not so great energy ambiance. That keeps me going much less. And the service keeps getting worst and slower, especially in the mornings. I keep going because their coffee quality is still the best in Vero. That being said, I am hoping for new coffee cafes to open, so that I can stop going to Coffee House 1420 for good. NOT liking the energy in there anymore, at all.

It was noisy and the echo made it difficult to hear my friend and her table.

If you are in the Vero area and are looking for a good cup of coffee, drop by 1420 and get a pour over. The daily roast or house brew is okay but the pour over, nearly any roast, is excellent worth the price!! I love their monkey bread, but ask for it warm - and the almond croissant is terrific! I have a things about baked goods being served at room temperature. The Almond Croissant is fantastic and worth the visit alone! I recently tried the muffin, blueberry. The taste is so distinct. I was surprised at how unique the flavor. Light and tasty. Not too sweet but so very good. I am including a picture of the muffin after it’s been eaten because it only lasted about two minutes! So very good!! Staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly!

Really enjoyed this great cafe with great coffee and many choices of coffees and teas. Their affiliation with the local monastery is odd and not clear to me, but this cute shop on the main corner of downtown is a pleasant surprise.
