Wow! I’m a local to the area, and have failed to checked out this unique little coffee shop, until today. I am ecstatic over their chai tea latte! Such a pleasant atmosphere and friendly smiles greeting you every step. Thank you, I will be back again, and again.🙂
This place is a GEM! My sister and I always visit here when we visit my grandmother. The coffee is out of this world. Best expresso I've had in a while, so smoothe! We both chose limited time flavors that were delivious. She had a salted caramel and I had a butterscotch /white chocolate latte (with less pumps to make less sweet). The butterscotch was the favorite. We always see the owner in there making the drinks and he is so friendly and kind. He mentioned they have a Christian library in the back too which is super cool. You must try this place out if you are visiting!

Since moving from Jax we’ve been looking for a local coffee house… and we found it! The Standard has a great atmosphere and the staff is great. The owner is super nice and welcoming too. Two thumbs up for the blueberry and strawberry muffins!
We have been looking for a good local coffee place to go to during our winter stay in Summerfield. This one certainly ticked all of the boxes. Great coffee, wonderful staff, and a warm coffee house atmosphere. The desserts were too hard to pass on as well! We shall definitely return.
Good coffee and friendly staff
I was passing through on a long road trip and popped into the standard for some coffee. Matt and the rest of the staff were immediately warm and friendly, and really brightened my day while chatting. The coffee and hot chocolate were amazing, and priced way better than any big coffee chain. I wish this cafe was located in my town!

Fun environment and nice staff. Didn’t like the coffee personally. It had fruity underbites that didn’t taste how I wanted.

GREAT coffee, solid people, and good vibes. The owners, Matt and Jess, genuinely care about each customer and their experience at The Standard. And the local coffee is incredible to boot (hard to find around here!). They also offer generous space for hosting classes and other events in the back of their Lady Lake café. Whether at their Lady Lake location or their second café in the Center for Advanced Healthcare at Brownwood, I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try. I guarantee you’ll be coming back.
Hands down our FAVORITE coffee shop around (or ever, to be honest!). We are new to the area and absolutely love taking our toddler with us, as the library in back is so spacious and relaxing! The coffee is so fresh and they have such a variety of offerings. We especially love the seasonal drink specials! Staff is always so friendly.
