Nice food and good coffee I edited my review to 5 Stars Specially after removing the slogan “in coffee we trust “
Absolutely love this place! Have visited two locations, service is excellent and the coffee is even better! My go to is the vanilla lavender iced latte with oat milk! Highly recommend!
Good Morning, I can't thank Tyler enough for all his help, fantastic service, service with a smile. If you are going to treat yourself to a delicious coffee and a positive and fun experience visit Tyler at The Blind Tiger Cafe for sure 5 stars!!!!!
Hottest Americano ever served: delicious! Great alternative to the commercial-chain "coffee house". We were welcomed, quick ordering process. I live my coffee HOT and this was by gar the hottest temp Americano I've ever been served. Breakfast sandwich was large enough for two to share.
Food is ok, a bit overpriced. Service absolutely sucks. Afternoons are better, but morning crews are rude as F. Coffee prices are not consistent; which is off putting. Our family has stopped supporting our local coffee shop and will go back to starbucks. Coffee is actually cheaper at SB. Our family of four was spending several hundred a month and unfortunately we won't be back. Hire nicer people. Our own business looks for people we like to hire and there is not one person at this establishment we would hire at our family business.
Won't be back! Too bad, my boyfriend and I loved to visit here nearly every morning until recently when they seemed to go through a new hiring, so we gave them the benefit of changes. However, they have become rude and overpriced! So much for supporting a small local business. Coffee, seems weak and not near as tasty as it was.
Coffee is amazing. Some staff are quite rude. Literally won’t listen to an order I get everyday. New girl working morning register is a bit of a b. Bummer I probably won’t stop in every morning after Pilates as I also seem to get charged different amounts nearly every time for the exact same drink. Spend nearly $200 month here and treated poorly all of a sudden. Got charged for a re-do. Good grief!! Ownership may want to find better, friendlier people.
Great cozy coffee shop! They have seasonal coffee and teas, also. I've always been a big chain coffee drinker (and occasionally still visit) but the best coffee is here. When I am in the mood for tea, their loose leaf teas are the best. My favorites are Moroccan Mint and Orange Blossom. They have a friendly staff and great food options as well!
Top notch coffee without excessive flavoring. Their pastries are sometimes frozen cold though and they don't have ceramic cups.
Pleasantly surprised! When I stepped inside I got a strong bleach or cleaner odor that made me worry. But the flavor of the coffee was terrific! I got a pourover and a decaf americano. If you’re looking for third wave coffee, give this place a try.
Great coffee shop in Westchase. Wide variety of tea options and friendly staff.
Food was great, coffee was great
The cafe bombón is my favorite at any of the Blind tiger locations. It's sweet and strong, just perfect to start the day
We enjoyed our Friendsgiving here and received a warm welcome and professional service. Our meetup group had to find an indoor location due to rain and cold that canceled our beach party. The owner and barista generously allowed us to enjoy the coffee shop and saved the day. The drinks and menu were quickly and perfectly prepared. The menu variety was just right. We look forward to returning to enjoy more items and the outdoor seating.
Just be aware, as of 11/5/2022, the menu on the website for this location wrong and the current menu is much more limited. We probably wouldn't have gone here for breakfast if we saw the actual menu beforehand. The staff was apologetic about the menu, it was just annoying since we already knew what we wanted based on what we saw before arriving. We got food anyway and it was good, if slightly overpriced. We would go back for lunch or just coffee.
Had an oatmilk latte and a GF blueberry muffin with a cinnamon top. Everything tasted really pretty good. Coffee was on the stronger side. Sadly something really disagreed with me for the remainder of the day.
Fresh and filling breakfast sandwiches and a killer drink in the Dirty Thaiger. A little on the expensive side but worth it for a treat
I called the Westchase location 4 times to try and place a to go order. I got hung up on 3 times and on the 4th time they answered and didn’t say anything - I had to be the one to speak before they hung up again - and then the person on the line told me that they don’t take orders over the phone and asked me to order online. They sounded flustered (probably wasn’t expecting to get called back after they hung up on me). They also didn’t introduce themselves or say the store name at all. Good food and coffee (highly recommend the breakfast tacos) but not great customer service.
I purchased a double shot latte and it was so weak all I could taste was milk. When I asked for an extra shot, we were charged additional cost and it still tasted like warm milk. We were charged $18 for 2 coffees with the additional shots. The staff were unprofessional and unkind in their interactions. Don’t recommend. Stick to Starbucks.
This place used to be better. Recently they "revamped" the food menu to include less fresh ingredients and no more eggs on the avocado toast. The other thing is the ambiance is weird and un-inviting especially to sit inside. They also have the strangest smell when you walk in like it's either really strong cleaning chemicals or those fake febreze things. I really hope they change the vibe up again and let the place smell like coffee and not febreze. Updated as management refuses to address complaints and doesn’t care. Hope they go out of business so we can get a better coffee shop here.
