Super friendly service!
UPDATE: I still come to this place frequently and I decided to up my review to a full 5 stars because their pastries have improved dramatically. Coffee is still great here. Haven't had a bagel here in a while though. They look the same. Overall, this place is improved and I still highly recommend coming here. It's a nice place in a great location. OLD REVIEW: I really like this place. I plan to come back repeatedly. Coffee is excellent, atmosphere and vibe is great. The only thing I have issue with is the food. The pastries/desserts are instagramable but are nothing special taste-wise. The bagels are absolutely devoid of flavor some how. It's like eating cardboard. The bagels are in desperate need of salt. I strongly recommend getting the pastries/desserts and bagels from somewhere that makes them delicious. That'd bump my review up to a 5.

Nice little spot to grab some coffee. Really spacious with plenty of seating. Stopped for an iced mocha latte after visiting the aquarium. Didn't have to wait long at all and was very good. They had a more than decent tea selection too. The location is a lot bigger than you'd expect, and plenty of people were there with their laptops. A few tables right outside as well if the weather is nice. Would stop in again if I'm in the area. The only thing that drives me crazy about the Channelside area is that they always charge for parking. Not the locale's fault, but makes it kind of inconvenient.
After exploring Tampa Bay’s Aquarium and the SS American Victory WWII cargo ship, I just needed a great quality beverage and noticed the slick looking Coffee house, Shortwave Coffee. I also saw there were several comfortable chairs with desks & power outlets. So this became a no brainer that drew me in to the restaurant to get a fresh drink, relax and recharge my cell phone. I got the mango/ banana smoothie and it brilliantly matched what my appetite wanted. It was rich, thick and cold. Perfect for a Tampa Bay hot day cool off. The staff were friendly and prices were good for the quality of drinks they offer. If you want me to transmit more videos, photos or reviews like this one, then set off the Spark man and modulate some feedback likes.

This was the best smoothie I've ever had. Just a simple smoothie. Done right. You gotta try the strawberry oatmilk!
This was the best coffee shop I went to on my visit to Tampa. Loved the atmosphere and it was a great place to do some work!

Nice local shop. They offer teas and coffees and small breakfast foods and pastries. There's a nice inside seating area and serve your beverage in a glass or ceramic mug if you order to dine in. If you order to go it comes in a normal to go cup for iced or hot drinks.
Amazing coffee so good ! Very bold and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. Nice and spacious! I got the Carmel latte with oat milk .
We stopped in after a long day at the Florida aquarium. The Mint Mayday caught my attention and decided to try a coffee drink that was out of the ordinary. We were all pleasantly surprised by the refreshing flavor the mint added to the cold brew coffee. I would definitely order this again.Smoothies. The kids in the group had great things to say about their smoothie. So thumbs up from everyone in the group.
Guter Kuchen,Eistee schwarz mit Zitrone frisch aufgebrüht. Aber: Leider der schlechteste Espresso den ich jemals getrunken habe. Total sauer quasi keine Crema und ungenießbar....grauenhaft und das obwohl die dort selbst rösten. Wie der normale Kaffee dort schmeckt will ich gar nicht wissen.

Came here with a friend the first time to study and it was such a great experience. Not only was the coffee actually good, the vibes of the place really made it cozy and enjoyable. Definitely will be coming here more often.
A super cool modern coffee shop with great options. My wife and I got the Iced Vanilla Sage and the Mint Mayday. The Mint Mayday has a fresh taste and gives a refreshing feel with fresh mint leaves in the drink. The Iced Vanilla Sage Latte is a great vanilla latte with great depth of flavor. 10/10 will be returning here.

Friendly staff and so welcoming. I asked for a recommendation and got a cardamom latte iced that was delicious! Beautiful and serene decor.
