There’s a smoothie acai bowl store right next store that was amazing!
Fantastic food and coffee with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Love the Cuban sandwich and their oat milk lattes!
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee and food, and best of all VERY friendly staff. This is one of my new favorite spots to drink some coffee and work.
Great coffee even better vibes!
This is the cutest and coolest coffee shop I’ve been to. They have products from candles, wine, ball caps, cards, cups and more. The inside has small seating area, a patio in the back and in the front. You have to order your food outside and then they’ll call your name. We got the pesto on Cuban no ham and lays plain chips. Our sandwiches were so good with left no crumbs for the birdies. And my caramel iced latte had the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness(don’t like my coffee sugar down). We will definitely be back for a pastry to try…And they have live music on Fridays
Great coffee and amazing atmosphere!
This was such a wonderful find..my wife and I went on a date to visit Davis Island and a few spots in South Tampa as we used to live down there for a short time. We loved it then and found we were disappointed with some of the old stops, but then we found this place. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet, relaxed time with a spouse or friend. The charcuterie board was cheap and delicious. The 2nd best Cuban sandwich in Tampa was maybe the best. I just love that they say it's the 2nd best. We had an iced herbal tea which was also delicious. I think we spent about $35 for the two of us on a drink, the sandwich, and the charcuterie. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Money well spent and it made for a beautiful time with my wife. Afterward, we went down to walk and sit by the bay.
Staff is friendly and had the pleasure meeting the owner and he was just as pleasant. I had cafe con Leche on Davis Island and it was excellent. Will definitely return..
Fantastic local spot for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Coffee is superb and the food is delicious, especially the Lox and Bagel! I first visited in 2016 and have always made a point to stop in whenever I’m in Tampa.
Delightful coffee shop with a great vibe; their avocado toast and cappuccino are exceptional. Parking can be tricky during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Highly recommended for a visit!
Good coffee, very hipsterish. I thought I got away from the hipsters in Williamsburg.
Nice cozy place, good coffee and sandwiches...
Went here today for the first time and wow, food is top notch!! Comes out fresh off the press and tastes so fresh and clean. Highly recommend the caprese on a Cuban sandwich best start to my day ever!!!
Nice atmosphere and great customer service. Had a good cappuccino. I love a good local espresso bar and a walk up counter. DI has both.
I've been coming to this coffee shop for yearrsssss.... Coffee, good, cool little knick knacks, and wine. I love the vibe of the place and everything usually tastes really good. The only complaint I have is that for the last few times I have been here the service to place an order is realllll slow. Now I only stop here if I have time, instead of a grab and go. Hopefully it is just a temporary problem with staff shortage or something. Other than that, it is def a fave of mine
If you are expecting a specialty coffee shop, you will be disappointed. When I ordered a cappuccino I was offered 12 oz or 16 oz and had to request it be 8 oz. Espresso was not properly dialed in and milk was steamed incorrectly. It seemed that the barista had little training and little knowledge of craft coffee preparation. Bar area and machine were filthy. In addition, service is incredibly slow and a bit disorganized.
Sort of a neighborhood market + wine store in the heart of Davis Island Nice New York City Art
It was a pleasant and warm experience, the staff was cordial and friendly.
I’ve been there 3 times. Only one time my order was right. This last visit they screwed up my order, remade it, and it still wasn’t right. I ordered a build your own sandwich with egg, cheese, avocado, and tomato. What I got was a duplicate of my husband’s sandwich: Egg, ham, cheese, avocado, cream cheese, and onions, except my husband didn’t order onions. When they remade my sandwich I got just egg and cheese. Period. They forgot the tomato and ran out of avocado. I had to scrape the avocado off the incorrect sandwich and again ask for my tomatoes because again, they forgot. Two out of 3 visits my order was wrong and wrong TWICE on the last visit. I’m sorry but this staff just can’t get their act together. It’s a breakfast sandwich. They’re not building custom jets (thank goodness!!) I have no reason to ever go back. A breakfast sandwich shouldn’t be this challenging.
I’m from Texas and landed here on Davis Island through corporate housing. After a long night shift of critical care I happened to drive by the coffee bar thinking I would get the usual fast food muffin or breakfast sandwich. Travel over 4 years, I try new things which brought me to the Cuban Sandwich. My taste buds exploded with the first bite. This hearty sandwich is decadent and lasts me two meals. The sandwich is enough to keep me coming back alone, but what better than to have the million dollar smiles of warmth and charisma from Justin and Ryan. Without fail, Justin and Ryan give superior customer service. Working over 60 hours a week, I can visit DI without disappointment. My time away from work is valuable for relaxation to refuel and I would not be spending any of it here with you if that sandwich hadn’t been so dang delicious. Oh and the place is spotless, it matters ya’ll, but that Cuban sandwich…mmmmmmyum.
