Great place and great vibe for brunch dates.
TL:DR - La florida is awesome 😎 All the staff are knowledgeable about coffee and they are committed to making every drink perfect. There's a bit of a Cheers vibe too as they will greet you by name when you walk in the door and ask you if you want your regular drink order. Five ⭐ out of five. Would definitely recommend. If you need a pick me up visit my friends at La Florida!
Coffee was okay.
My personal favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee. I frequent other ones more accessible in the area, but La Florida is my favorite if I have to time to get there. Saying that, if you work or live downtown, it's perfect. If you live in the surrounding area, it's more of a hassle to get here most days during the week. The coffee is great here, the pastries are great, the staff is great. I haven't made it for a happy hour or taco night, but keep planning on getting there. I enjoy just sitting in this coffee shop and drinking my coffee because its comfortable and plenty of seating. It just would be nice if the parking wasn't as much of a hassle to stop there like other coffee shops around. But I do get the location and appeal.
My favorite coffee place in town. The first time I've had drip coffee that is fruity and tasty was here, but the quality unfortunately varies day by day. They have good espresso machines and I love getting cappuccinos. Some of the baristas make better drinks than the others unfortunately, but they are all very nice people.
Love this place. Easy walking distance to the Capitol Building and on the plaza level above Kleeman Parking Garage. Coffee, wine, and baked goods. Super friendly staff.

I've spent a fair amount of time in coffee shops over the years and let me tell you - this is some of the best coffee I've had in a while! The cinnamon rolls were simply scrumptious and the atmosphere was ideal to get a bit of work in! I was fortunate enough to meet the owners too, what a wonderful couple with a lovely family! I will definitely go again

La Florida is my favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee. The team here is exceptional and creates a welcoming environment. The ambiance is perfect for working, studying, and catching up with colleagues. It is a must visit!

Great location! Very peaceful place for a Saturday morning coffee overlooking the capitol building and the trees at Cleman Plaza. Their Thursday evening wine and live music nights also make for a fun date night. I will definitely come back often!

Parking is paid or further away, but this place is cute. Grab a coffee and a muffin and enjoy the upscale feel or take a walk in the plaza. Barista was pleasant and the atmosphere was calm. Nice afternoon pick-me-up.
