The soup du jour and salad Maison were excellent. The dessert menu was enticing and the wine list very good. All in all a very pleasant experience.
I have gone a few times for dinner and one time for a holiday party. Food is always good. But the dessert. Let me tell you! I would sell my own brother for their desserts. My boyfriend and I have made it a routine to go their for dessert dates.
One of our favorites for brunch in Tally. Menu and food is consistent and pleasing. They make a great eggs Benedict and the servings are fulfilling. The Baklava Cheescake is a bit dry and hard to eat, far from the flakey honey drenched desert it is named for. That was disappointing but not enough to keep us from going back.
Wow, the food was amazing. I had the Caramelized Salmon. It came with mash potatoes and asparagus. I don't know if I was starving, but the dish was delectable! The rest of my party had the Seared Tuna Steak and said she would order it again. The presentation was lovely, and the portions were plentiful. Our waitress was great. She made sure she was available and acoomidating. Her personality was lovely. All around good customer service. The atmosphere, in my opinion, had an art gallery feel. It was minimalistic. Noise level was average for an early dinner. The bathroom was clean.
Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was delicious. A great birthday treat!
What happened to Food Glorious Food? I’ve gone here many times over the past several years and the food has just plummeted in quality in the past year. Tonight is definitely our last visit. The last time I came was August 2022 and the food was underwhelming. The Mackin’ Cheese, one of their signature dishes, was under seasoned and watery. But they still had a few wins, including dessert. We figured they were having an off night and came back tonight for a birthday dinner. The smoked tuna dip was watery but fine and the scallops were horrible. They were literally the size of marshmallows, completely bland, and on top of a lump of wet, wilted spinach that tasted… like barf? I honestly don’t know how else to describe it. I sent a dish back to the kitchen for the first time in over 10 years. The spicy Asian chicken was good, but bc they didn’t dip the chicken in corn starch, the fried breading fell off. The fries underneath were so soggy, I didn’t even eat them. And I’m a fat queen who’s never met a potato she didn’t like. The tuna steak was ice cold in the middle. Once it was re-cooked, it was fine. We’ve made better at home, though. Finally, we ordered the key lime tart and the whole thing just tasted like straight sugar. We took off the marshmallow topping thinking that was the problem. Then I tried it without the almond crust. But even the custard barely tasted like lime. The only compliments I have are for the wine and the service. Our server was lovely and the only reason for the third star.
One of my favorite restaurants in Tallahassee. I have been coming here for over 40 years. Always great food and wonderful desserts. With concrete floors, it can be noisy. Staff is excellent and attentive. If you're not too hungry, get two small plates or appetizers in lieu of an entree.
Went for dessert for my daughter’s birthday… no one greets you when you walk in, dessert displays are crusty with what looks like food-smeared fingerprints, the espresso came with dead bug in it, and service has lots of room for improvement
Great food! Love the FHF Mackin Cheese! Can I get the recipe 😋
My husband and I went to FGF for a final date night before our baby arrived. We have been here before for desserts only ( which are just on another level... More of that later. My husband ordered a cocktail, and we started our dinner with the gnocchi in blue cheese cream sauce and bacon. OMG! It was one of the richest, creamiest, savoryest sauces. We absolutely loved it. We then each had an entree. My husband ordered the seared tuna with seaweed salad, and I had their fried chicken with asian bbq, shoelaces, and green beans. The flavors were excellent and the portions were plentiful. We finished it mean with dessert ( obviously). When you're at FGF you MUST get dessert. They have an enormous menu that is standard and a whole separate menu for seasonal desserts. Picking just one is impossible. My husband got the milk and cookies cake, which was a huge! It covered the whole plate and had a delicious chocolate chip cookie on top. I ordered the lemon poppyseed cake with lemon curd and cream cheese frosting. This was probably one of the better cakes I've had in my life. Sweet, tangy, perfect texture. The food here is excellent, the service impeccable. It only complaint was the noise level. It's a little hard to hear each other. We will definitely be back!
I had an early Valentine's day with my partner and had a wonderful time. We started out with the Brussel Sprouts which I have had before and they were fantastic. I had the tuna steak, rare for my entree and both the spinach and tuna were done well but the mushroom risotto was a little too salty for my taste. Our server Rosie was very kind and attentive to our needs, no complaints about her at all. Another successful night at Food Glorious Food.
Took me a long time to go eat here but it was delicious when I finally did! Looks like some deep cleaning needs to be done where the walls meet the floor but otherwise a nice little dinner spot.
Great food, great service and atmosphere:) don’t walk there, run there!
This is a guaranteed great meal everytime & save room for dessert they are All amazing...
Hidden gem, calamari, pan seared grouper, were great ,but desert stole the show , coffee crunch cake was amazing ,
Very slow service for okay food. One of the dishes didn’t arrive with the others …we had to inquire about the meal before getting it. Waitress was awesome! We spent alot of money and then waited over an hour for them to run our cards. Management did not come out and apologize for the delay and make any sort of effort to resolve the issue (internet was down). He was actually rude asking us what the problem was when we finally went to the front to find out why it was taking so long. We had already been to them multiple times and each time told they were working on it! In the end we had to write our credit card information down for them to run when internet came up! Which took us complaining about time of wait before that solution occurred. We arrived at 6 and left at 945! Not a good experience.
Ate at the bar. It's been 3 years since I've eaten at FGF. Drinks were great, same old desserts nothing new. I was presented with some seriously burned up Brussel sprouts that never should have left the kitchen. Shame on you guys. Sent them back of course. Filet mignon was on point.
Absolutely love the atmosphere, art gallery meets lounge. The food was scrumptious and very generous portions. If you love cake then your in luck because good baby Jesus they know what they are doing we tried 4 different kinds the key lime, lemon, apple and hummingbird. If you are sharing be prepared for battle because your going to want everything for yourself. Already planning my next visit!!
This place is delicious. I can't believe I've lived in Tally for 6 years and never been here. It's a must go!
Fantastic as always! Great service, exceptional food, always leave happy ...
