We found a little bit of heaven in this corner of Florida. Stopped by for a coffee and a cake. Coffee was about as good as coffee could taste (and I'm a fussy coffee drinker!) and the lemon cake was sure delight. Then sat in the shade and admired the view of the yachts and soaked up the peaceful ambience. Friendly and attentive employees and to top it all - free and ample parking. Beats corporate cafes by far.
Found this place visiting my mom and it really is a hidden gem. Coffee is amazing. Trendy. Great views. Just all around great. So glad to have found. Only suggestion... a small kids menu.
The Staff here is always so friendly, of course the drive thru at the big box stores may be convenient at times, but if I have the chance to go and hang out on the water with a cup of Gilberts Drip I would take that 10/10 times. Worth the stop.
This place is fantastic! Have you got friends coming from out of town? Want to take them to a really nice, beautiful spot with lovely things to eat and the most perfect coffee you've ever had? You have to come here. The view is spectacular, and everyone working here is so kind. I also do delivery for instacart and every single time that I deliver here, everyone is so kind, friendly, and pleasant. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The perfect setting to hang out with a friend or work through your day. Delicious well made Coffee, never a disappointment.
I don't mind paying $7-$10 for a coffee if it is good. I had the pistachio and my daughter had a latte. We shared a strawberry toast. They brought the toast on a plate, no extra dishes or napkins and we had to go find our coffees. 2 small pieces of toast looked pretty, tasted ok. My coffee had a terrible musty aftertaste and hers taste like water. She even paid extra for a flavored whipped cream topping. We ate the toast, threw out the coffee. Wasted $35.
Very unhappy! Service was awful, table & chairs outside were dirty. 3 people working and no one knew there was no more coffee Guess what...Gilbert's Coffee Bar had NO COFFEE. Wow.. I was offered powdered express with hot water. SO disapointed

Good coffee with a great view
I loved the ample seating and parking. My mocha was phenomenal and you can’t beat the marina view. I looks forward to coming back to enjoy another coffee and toast :)
Gilberts is a Gem on the river in Stuart, located beside a huge marina. The parking is tough, although there are spots. I went there for coffee, but the view and the Spring Toast was phenomenal. The staff was also really nice and attentive. You just don't get this at Starbucks. I plan on going back on my next trip to Stuart!
This place is super cute. It is right on the water! The coffee is really good. The only thing that could be better is they could have a few more food options.
Love this place. Very serene. Great coffee, toasts, smoothies, and pastries. Dog friendly.
Great spot for coffee or a snack. Pricey wine too if you're so inclined. Live music on the weekends by the firepit with a lovely view of the marina. Highly recommend the Elvis sandwich or the avocado toast!

I've been really looking forward to visiting for some time now... Unfortunately, parking was a disaster. The building was hard to find. There are no visible signage. Apparently you're supposed to drive through and park at the the nearby restaurant parking lot. which was full. There are no nearby areas to park and walk over. Spots and streets are too small for anything larger than a compact. Guess I won't be able to visit after-all. (Tuesday morning 9:30am)
