Pleasant coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the USF campus. I live nearby, but only visit occasionally since I'm usually headed downtown. If you're looking for a quiet spot to have coffee outside or inside, this is one of the best places south of downtown near the water. The atmosphere is less institutional than Kahwa in the student center, and less corporate than Starbucks in the Hilton. The outside seating is relaxing, unlike the coffee shop at the USF bookstore, which has only a few uncomfortable metal tables with attached chairs along busy 5th Ave S. How is the coffee? I can only comment on the regular latte, which is very good. They also offer the obligatory sugary drinks masquerading as coffee that many Americans prefer. Speaking of sugar, one quibble: The multigrain bread is sweet (as is often the case). I'd recommend choosing something else if you enjoy a savory sandwich such as the bacon, egg, spinach and tomato (BEST). Occasionally there can be issues with smoke outside. For dinner check out The Tavern next door. It has live music, and the grouper is great.

Where do I begin? This place is the bomb dot com! Family owned, friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Not to mention that the food and drinks are delicious! I have never had a bad drink here. Their coffee and tea are both super good. If you go, you have to try the Lox bagel! As a self-proclaimed lox bagel enthusiast, I have tried so many and I can honestly say that the Grind’s is the best one in the area. Good eats, good sips, and good vibes.

I had my first experience at Campus Grind today and it did not disappoint. I ordered a muffin and the caramel apple latte. Both were delicious, served quickly, and priced reasonably. The outdoor seating is just the right amount of sunshine to study and enjoy a beverage. Such a delight, I can’t wait to return and try all the lattes on the menu!

The tavern at bayburo is connected in the same building with this little coffee house. When it rains, the open mic goes to this area of the building. Not only was it packed with college kids which was fun, but they had my kombucha, booyah

They are great here. The 2 women in back of the counter are both very friendly and accommodating. They make a pretty darn good latte too! It's a nice little place to sit and have coffee.

I was working in St. Petersburg last year and found this place. I was back there again in June and stopped in for coffee. The two girls that are the owner and her sister are great! Every time I had been there my experience was fantastic. I would recommend Campus Grind to everyone.

Update 1/15/21 New owners once again and very hospitable running a great coffee shop. Plenty of space for having meetings in and out, great study atmosphere, music is a good vibe and not crazy loud, lots of tables outside, easy free parking (a rare thing in DTSP). Reasonable prices. Good wifi. Worth making a regular spot.

Coffee is delicious!! Best in the Bay Area. Their homemade muffins are to die for. Avocado toast & the B.E.S.T breakfast are my personal favorites. Definitely my go to breakfast spot downtown. It’s a comfy cozy environment, good music, and a great place to study. The new owners are so nice and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

They were absolutely awesome. The baristas took the time to explain to me drinks to help me choose what was right for my taste. So patient and definitely deserve the five star ratings. They have absolutely amazing coffee and not to mention the B.E.S.T crossiant breakfast sandwich ever. Thanks guys and please keep up the awesome work!
