Classic American diner. It's downtown so you'd think the prices would be higher, but they do a great job of keeping it reasonable. Very working class joint, saved me from a hangover more than once. Get johns special!
I absolutely love this staff! They work like a well-oiled machine. Food is always fresh and amazing. Hardly any wait even though they are always busy.

Every downtown should have a diner. A diner is a necessity. The different types of cafes and shops are fabulous. However, sometimes there is a need for breakfast and lunch being served in the same place at the same time. Thank you, Central diner!

This is a classic diner! Great service and delicious food. But get there early. The tables fill up fast! You can also grab a seat at the counter. Love the place.

Central Coffee is an unassuming diner with a simple, seat-yourself vibe, and excellent food. Look no further than the house special breakfast (home fries with cheese, sausage, and eggs) or the biscuits and gravy (their country gravy is almost a food group of its own and is the best I’ve ever had!) Comfortable seating, great prices, and prompt service are the icing on the cake. I look forward to breakfast at Central Coffee every time I visit St Pete and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Meanest server ever. Yelled at a guy in a wheelchair. We left after she threw straws as us.
It was uncomfortably warm, not sure the a/c was working. I left before ordering, the servers were all friendly but looked super uncomfortable in the heat. I felt bad for them.
